Or most popular, or the one you, or others, enjoyed the most. Just curious, I can think of one in paticular that people got a kick out of.

I posted one about a sink at work that had a really shallow basin so water kept splashing on my pants so if I was wearing khakis it looked like I peed myself and asked if anybody had suggestions.

It was a fun thread until a party pooper crashed it

I was looking through some of my old posts and came upon this one:

Title:

What Celtics Fans Proposing Blockbuster Trades Sound Like to Opposing Fans

Quote
Cindarella walks into a bicycle shop and goes up to the counter to speak to the shop owner.

Cindarella: "Hello.  I'm looking to make a change in my mode of transportation.  What I have now is good.  Really!  But I need to make a change."

Shop owner: "Okay, well, we have a lot of great bicycles here.  How much are you looking to spend?"

Cindarella: "I was actually looking to trade in what I have now."

Shop owner: "What do you have now?  What kind of condition is it in?"

Cindarella: "I have a nice big horse drawn carriage.  It's finely crafted, gilded, and it has a full team of thoroughbred horses with harnesses and everything!"

Shop owner (taken aback): "Wow.  That's amazing.  You could get pretty much any bike you want with that.  Where is it?  Can I see it?"

Cindarella: "Oh it's right outside the shop.  Take a look"

Cindarella turns and points behind her, to the sidewalk outside the storefront window.

Shop owner:  "All I see is a giant pumpkin."

Cindarella: "It's a carriage!  I mean, it was a carriage just last night!  Really!  That's worth a nice new bike for sure!"

Shop owner: "Miss, that's a pumpkin.  I can't trade you a bicycle for a pumpkin."

In retrospect, it's now clear that Cindarella just needed to have a conversation with Billy King!

I think it was this from page 31 of the "NBA Season 2015-2016" thread:

So Austin Rivers was the worst player in the NBA two years ago, then he signed with the Clippers in the offseason.

Lance "Born Ready" Stephenson was the worst player in the NBA last year, then he signed with the Clippers in the offseason.

So my question is, what kind of contract do they offer Kobe next year?  Isn't he a UFA?

My thread "Have you had any good (or bad) beers lately and what were the results" has lasted longest. Although the one about interesting food eaten was to me most interesting.

Whatever the "I don't know what to do about this girl" post was, was pretty epic.

EDIT: Oh MY most interesting post. I really have no idea. There is probably one out there that stands out, but needle in a haystack.

Yeah except they traded for both guys, and Austin was midseason.  IMMERSION RUINED.

To answer the OP's question I'd say my most interesting post is this one.

Ha, I read that and thought to myself, "What in the actual fudge is this post possibly going to say?"

Crazy times, nice call-back.

I made a post a while back comparing The Lord of the Rings with Game of Thrones, and I argued that Game of Thrones was better. It made for a pretty interesting convo with a bunch of us nerds quibbling over fantasy lands and stories.

Granted, I will say that after watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy about a dozen times since then, my opinion has changed somewhat, and I think they're much closer than I had originally thought, though I still give Game of Thrones the edge. The more I watch The Lord of the Rings the less childish it gets and the more I relate to the characters.

I was not a fan of the Hobbit trilogy at all, though.

Look back over threads that I started, it looks like the thread that lasted the longest was probably this one:

http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=70403.0

"Prepare Yourself For Gordon, Vonleh, or Smart" -- lasted 10 pages

I think one of my better posts, though, was this one:

http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=65773.0;topicseen

"Why I No Longer Hate LeBron"

I think that one was mostly me coping with the disappointment of seeing the Spurs lose in heartbreaking fashion.

The 2013 Finals bother me much less in retrospect since the Spurs destroyed the Heat in 2014 and effectively sent LeBron back to Cleveland.

That Embiid thread was pretty interesting in the off season, was about 20 pages from memory, ended up getting locked and multiple posters got suspended over it.
One of whom appears to have now been kicked off this forum for good.
That was good value from a pure entertainment point of view.
