I *think* the writer spelled 'Boston Celtics' incorrectly...he keeps spelling it as 'Golden State Warriors'.   :P

I love that somebody voted Perk for "player who will make the best head coach someday."
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I know he gets dumped on by the basketball experts on CB because his defense is overrated but at least those doing the hiring seem to think highly of ABs skillset.

Second confirmation first came form his peers when he was left off all D team this season.
ok fine

I found this interesting:

Which rookie will be the best player in five years?

1. Josh Jackson, Phoenix – 24%

2. Markelle Fultz, Philadelphia – 21%

    Jayson Tatum, Boston – 21%

4. Lonzo Ball, L.A. Lakers – 14%

    Ben Simmons, Philadelphia – 14%

If this is the case, the Tatum deal was a steal ... basically getting the Lakers/Sacto pick for free.

No, if this was the case, we messed up and should have taken Jackson.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

If this is the case you're both right

Stevens got no votes for best head coach and Kyrie got no votes for best point guard.

On another note, KAT was rated the #1 player to build a new franchise around, #1 center in the NBA, #4 power forward in the NBA (Behind AD, Lebron, and KD), and the #1 player most likely to break out. So he’s already the best center in the league and the best young player in the league, and GMs think he’ll have the biggest breakout year? Jesus.

Millsap is spot on. Nuggets should be good this season.

Signing Baynes is going to look like a very underrated move by the end of the season

The Boston/Cleveland trade was voted the most surprising offseason move, which makes sense.

Celtics were voted 2nd in the East with Cleveland getting 86% of all 1st place votes (and 10% of 2nds) and Boston getting 79% of all 2nd place votes (and 10% 1sts). Washington was the only other team to get a 1st or 2nd place vote at all. So not much faith in Toronto or Milwaukee.

I appreciate that they put last year's winners on all of these so we can see that GM's are picking Lonzo Ball as the ROY this year but they picked Kris Dunn last year and Dunn was... not exactly in the ROY conversation.

Marcus got a vote in the "toughest player" poll.

Russell Westbrook actually got a vote in the "best leader" poll which seems bizarre to me. Even if you think Westbrook is a good leader, who thinks he's the best in the entire league?

Kyrie #3 in the "player you want taking a shot with the game on the line". So that's nice.
