They'll be traded for three picks in 2019.

Lol ;D, beat me to describing a similar scenario.  TP.

We passed on the #1 overall pick. At this point, does it matter who we draft at #3?

We are obviously looking ahead for the 2018 draft.

can you stop hanging out in the darkside

Lots of good things to like about the potential #3 picks.... they can all do a few things at an elite level

Considered blue chip prospects

Fine.

I want us to draft Dennis Smith, Jr.

If we're gambling, then might as well go full "I need tuition for college so I'm going to Vegas and use all the money I have left" gamble.

you never know with Danny

He could trade the #3 for #5, #10 and a future Kings 1st

then pick Smith Jr. and Markkanen.

This is NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.

The Kings just saw the Sixers take the #1 pick for the #3 and a protected Lakers pick. Why wouild they give up more value than the Sixers give the #1 overall for a much inferior asset?

They can be dumb, but they're not this dumb.

What about 3 for 5, 10, and 34 in this year's draft?  Would they do that?

Ainge will trade down for more picks in 2019 and 2020.

The ainge wingspan draft theory continues

Thats for all you overreacting, non processing, with no linear thinking so called fans who want Ainge fired ...

...dropped the mic

hoping for one of bamba or ayton....its time the Celts to pick up a legit big player

i'm not sold on Porter Jr.    ... He can shoot and is 6'10 but has poor handles, avg passing skills. Defensively he needs to tighten up his footwork to be able to stay in front of quicker player.

Doncic is slow ... offensively he will present some problems for smaller, dumber defenders....but defensively he is going to have issues against nba quickness/explosiveness

I bet also one or two of these 5-10 prospects are going to climb up the board ...  Its a strong PF/C draft

As a notorious IT hater, I hope one of them is Luka Doncic, since he can play point and he's 6'7.  The other pick can be any one of Porter, Ayton, or Bamba.

How is Doncic going to handle/stay in front of Irving/Currys of the world??

Also from what i have seen of Doncic so far...he tends to be pass happy vs scoring some points/driving in finishing around the basket.  He can shoot and has a high iq.   Just haven't seen much killer instincts/alpha dog from him

This draft was touted as Fultz, Ball, Tatum, Jackson.

The next consists of Porter, Ayton, Doncic, Bamba.

If we have a choice of two, I'll be ecstatic.

Personally, I'd take Porter and Ayton.

He can't be any worse at that than IT can he  ;D

I think that in part may be due to him playing for Madrid, one of the top teams outside of the NBA, more than anything. It's probably part of the gameplan more than anything, as he's dishing to quite a few former NBA players.

This video shows him staying in front of Westbrook, so I think he'll do just fine against the Irving/Currys of the world.  Oh, and he is 17 in the video and a starter and a key player for Real Madrid's A team.

If we get Doncic, I don't care who else we pick. My guess for next year's top 4 is that it will go Doncic-Ayton-Porter-Bamba. Doncic will be the second coming of Magic Johnson, Bamba will be a Gobert clone, and Ayton and Porter will be decent players but not stars.

As of right now Porter and Ayton look like the real thing ...
everyone is is pretty far behind ..
Bomba could be special but I think he needs to add lots of mudcle
Carter looks the most ready and is a sleeper

It's funny how the draft next year or the year after is always so much stronger than this year's draft.

I came here to make the same comment lol

Next year's draft is always the best.

Porter and Ayton
two most versatile offensive players

Doncic and Bamba
best playmaker and best defensive prospect.

They been saying that since the Andrew Wiggins/Jabari Parker/Joel Embiid draft.
