Just skimming through several articles on trade talks, and it is very clear that the following centers are fully available to acquire at this trade deadline, and likely all of them will be moved:

Brook Lopez (would have the bonus of improving our pick)
Nerlens Noel
Andrew Bogut
Jusuf Nurkic
Omer Asik

I believe any of them can be acquired without giving up a Nets pick or a top asset like Smart or Brown. All of them would impact our salary cap. Which of these big men if any would you want us to trade for?

I wouldn't take Asik unless NO packaged him with either Hield or their first-rounder this year, which they certainly wouldn't do, but otherwise everyone else simply depends on what their team is asking. I'd take all of them in a vacuum, but I'm not giving up premium assets for them either. Nurkic is probably the most appealing of the lot because he stays cheap for one more year, but Denver isn't giving him up cheap.

Easily Bogut for me. He fills all our needs while also being a good enough passer to be successful in our offensive system. Furthermore, he brings no long-term commitment whatsoever.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

What about Okafor?  I think he might be moved because supposedly Noel is a better fit with Embid.

I would take a flyer on him.

With the abundance of quality centers available at this deadline, there really is no excuse for us not to get one finally.

Phili has lost all leverage in a Noel trade and his value has plummeted.

NO is begging to give away Asik.

Bogut is rotting away on a terrible Dallas team and at his age won't demand much to acquire.

Nurkic is in a similar situation to Noel behind Jokic, just not quite as bad as Noel's situation.

Latest reports on the Nets are that Lopez has been available all season long, they just aren't getting much interest as teams dont want to give up a draft pick and take back such a large salary. Also most teams are reportedly aware that they can get him at the deadline if all other options fail.

I would go for Noel , and if the Sixers still play hardball, I would move on Bogut. He would fit so well in our system with his passing skills.

I didnt include him because he is not as clearly and easily available as the others from most reports.

Noel because he fills a defensive need up front. Plus they can re-sign him because he's a Boston area native and has indicated he wants to play here.

The only thing holding up a Noel deal is Philly wants too much for him. They are intent on salvaging something out of that 3 center draft fiasco.

I like Bogut, as he should be cheaper than the other guys, and is better than Asik. He'd let Amir Johnson slide play against backups, which should help his production as well. I think we're competitive with Toronto as it is, and this would help us maybe beat them in the playoffs to get to CLE.

If IT can continue to shine, this team has ECF written all over it. I think Bogut would be a nice fit next to Horford.

Noel yes if the price isn't too high which it probably is to us
Nurkic maybe again if the price isn't too high.
Bogut more experienced Nurkic

Cousins no word he is even really available or will be made that and the price oh my the price.

Those are the main ones I've heard that make any sense..

Carl Landry?

He's been a free agent all season after being released by Philly in the summer.  Don't think he'd offer much.

^this is how I feel too.

DAL needs every big in their roster rn:  Dwight Powell has 21 mpg in 35 games (last season he was at 14.4 mpg and before that he was in single digits). Mejri has already started 11 games (last year he started 6 the whole season).

In any case, here are some more tweets to continue building on the rumours

Asik LOL
Yea gimme washed up old school center so that we cap ourselves out.
That is a top 5 worst NBA contract ATM.
And the market is saturated at that position for at least a couple of years.
...And we have stashed bigs at that position.

Bogut for peanuts will do.
