Jaylen Brown did not at all look NBA-ready in Summerleague and was the 2nd worst player on the team in preseason... this after most analysts said he was extremely raw, the likely #8 pick, and at least a couple years away from contributing. Considering that, I think it's wildly impressive that his first 39 minutes of NBA basketball have resulted in 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal with 65% shooting. Awesome sign. I hope we see more of that tonight.

If you evened out everyone's preseason minutes, only Jerebko was worse. http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=87338.0But he looked good in his first two real games and that's all that matters. Though technically I guess his per-36 stats over the first two games are still worse than everyone other than Jerebko.
This Hornets team is very beatable. I'm ready to panic if they lose. Hoping for a big game from Jaylen.
