I wouldn't mind. Give him like a 2-3 year deal. Last year non guaranteed.

I bet you put that same face on when we gave Turner his 2 year deal huh?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Nope, I never used that, nor any other, emoji to express my view towards the Turner signing.  I've gone back and looked over what was said, and I eventually came around on the guy, but yes, I did have my reservations about Turner.  Don't forget, he was viewed very differently, then, as a coach killer (I think Vogel's job was in jeopardy after what happened to that Pacers team and Turner was being made the scapegoat, iirc), a locker room cancer, and he, along with Spencer Hawes, was holding up the Philly tank job which is why they traded him, I guess, even though I put it that he was stunting the growth of their young guys.  How ironic, right?  Lol, I don't think that it was that so much as they were just looking to clean house, start over, and get Tony Wroten more minutes, who had been starting with Turner, at times, but those two couldn't play together, plus Man Crush Wednesday (sarcasm) ;), was also there, lol ;D.

I still don't see what's wrong with not liking JR Smith, though, and this isn't anywhere near the same situation as Turner's, imo.  What does Smith bring to our team?  Nice touch on your sig, btw (sarcasm) - is that new ::)?

Good lord no.

There are headcases, and then there is JR Smith. He's a disgrace to this league, and for him to wear a Celtics jersey would be an insult to every great Celtic who has ever played.

I'm in.

God, the rest of the league must think we're desperate, it's the only explanation as to why we're linked to every single knucklehead in the league.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I would only sign him to a ONE DAY contract so that Crowder could beat the crap out of him in the locker room.

Exactly, I don't want the team kicking the tires on him but I would love to have Crowder "kick the tires" on him
I'm bitter.

The title alone of this conversation was offensive. I mean, we spell "tires" with an "i" in this country. U-S-A!!!

Sign him. Then I'd have the opportunity to boo him 43 times per year.

this board is not so parochial as to restrict itself to the US. check out the posters here and you will see many are from other places....which is a very good thing.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
