Rozier = better athlete, better defender & rebounder, better driver, better scorer.
The first one, I would probably agree? Jackson has an extremely high vertical.. I remember reading it was 42, 43, or 41.5 lol. But anything over 38+ is taking flight in my eyes.
I don't know if Rozier is the better player though. Yes he has proven in the playoffs that he isn't some scrub, but... Jackson has probably been on my bucket list for a long time.
I'm trying to tell people here, if Stevens honestly gives this guy the go ahead minutes... Jackson will not disappoint. He is a bonafide leader, true point guard, scoring, better shooter, and willing to put his body on the line.
I like Rozier, but he doesn't really scream PG to me. He seems like a mix of AB and Wade. The chance of becoming a great two way player.
Rozier inefficiency is troublesome
and he looked inefficient last season when he got mins. He was streaky. Made some open jump shots. Missed several others.
I thought he was like a Westbrook in that he can drive and finish. NO WAY . Maybe at the college level or a dummy team letting him have the open lane. But against traffic/big players, he looked "stumped"
Jackson like I said is able to finish through contact or just dunk over you. He has sick vertical leap

Rozier's vertical measured at 38" at the combine last year - that kid can really get up. I remember reading that his athletic measurements in the combine were right up there with some of the best recorded in the history of the combine.
He is a REALLY impressive athlete. Not going to say he's a better athlete then Jackson, because Jackson looks like an athetic freak (43.5" max vertical is insane).
Honestly, I think that as all round athletes the two are about on par.
As for Rozier scoring inefficiently last year - you need to realise that Rozier barely played last year and really had no chance to get comfortable. It wasn't until about 2 weeks before the playoffs that he actually started to get some consistent minutes. Despite this he STILL mad a real impact for us int he playoffs, which is mighty impressive.
Rozier has a ton of potential - can score in so many ways, is one of the best rebounding guards I've seen, and his defence is just as impressive as his offence.
Jackson makes more sense as a pure PG since he has the handle and the passing instincts, and can score too. Rozier makes more sense at the 2 spot I think, however he can play the PG spot as well.
I really like them both, dying to see what they can do in summer league.
