FWIW, Kevin O'Connor had Jackson 14th on his board. Great value at #45.
does it make up for taking a guy projected in the 2nd round at #16?
lol

After the top-10 was announced I gave up on this year's draft predictions.

Oooh, and Bentil at #51, I like it.

I swear someone else is drafting for us in the second round. These are solid picks.

seems like the 2nd round has some decent talent this year, too.

I used some twisted logic to rationalize that Ainge did that because he (1) wanted Yabusele, (2) wanted to not have to sign 3 first rounders, and (3) thought that second rounders might be easier to move. That, and his first draft and stash choice (Hernangomez) was gone.

He did a hell of a lot better in the 2nd round.

I figured out his problem - Danny just tries to be cute and make unconventional picks to prove he's this elite GM. The problem is.. drafting is not his Forte at all. Bargain deals is.

It's so easy to please celticsblog. All you have to do is draft the guy the mocks draft have projected for your position  ::)
Demetrius Jackson wasn't projected this far, so you're talking nonsense

Maybe Ainge swapped out the way Adam Silver does? :P

Ainge is killing it in Round 2.

technically they were in the playoffs last year.

Or it's the same explanation he had for picking Rozier 16 last year. Maybe he suspected another team would draft him before we were on the clock again.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Maybe. Is zarren making the picks?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Some good guards are going to go undrafted.  McClellin probably won't get picked.  Payton, Felder, and VanFleet don't look like they will get picked.

True.

Picking the projected guy is a B-, you gotta do better than that and pick the guy who was projected 20 picks earlier for an A around here.
