#3  Dunn #16 Zhou Qi  #23 Thon Maker

Trade Bradley  free up  playing time, Qi the  steal of this draft, stash Maker
#3 - if it's Dunn it's because he's part of draft -day trade where Danny slides back to get someone he likes while picking up another asset.
#16 Qi is second round material.  #31 or #35
#23 Maker is second round material as well  #31 or #35.

Qi and Maker are pure projects.  No one I'd want to invest a guaranteed contract on and a roster spot.  #16 will have several other pretty good prospects available.
Maker may get some interest late in the first round and not last to the second.  if there's any confirmation he'll won't be there at #31, I'd consider him at 23 but only if whoever's left is also a crapshoot.

#  3 - Hield or Dunn
#16 - Taureen Prince
#23 - Thon Maker

I have now watched 11m 37s of Taureen Prince on DX, which brings the total amount of time that I've spent on him to 11:37. Based on my in-depth analysis, I like him at 16.

#3: Murray
#16: Korkmaz, Luwawu, Sabonis, in that order, based on who is available
#23: Zizic, Zuback, Maker, in that order, based on who is available

Murray: BPA

#16: You'll get somebody who does one thing really well but has significant deficiencies in other areas of their game. My goal is to get that player who can get to at least "acceptable" on the other areas.

#23: The Fab Melo pick. You need to shoot for the stars, knowing that occasionally you'll miss and hit London. You could probably get a perfectly acceptable player who will be that third or fourth guy off the bench. We don't need that. If we take a shot and miss big, I'm okay with that.

Mike

3 Bender
16 Chriss, Korkmaz, Luwawu
23 Zizic, Zuback, Diallo, Qi

The more I hear about the Bender the more I'm sold..

16 Not a Sabonis fan. Hopefully one of those 3 are available at 16.

23. I agree shoot for the moon. Would be nice if some of the #23 guys slipped into the 2nd round as well.

Dunn is a good player but I doubt he is the best available at #3. Any arguments to back up your case?

Qi is a good gamble.

Less excited about Maker.

Fantastic. Love it. TP
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Dunn is flat out the best defender  in the draft, a motor that doesn't quit.
I like the pairing of smart  and dunn , makes  the team a worse shooting team , but wow it would be fun to watch them wreak havoc  on the floor. trade away      IT and rozier, or AB make some room and get a scorer with a trade.

If DraftExpress is to be taken seriously (and it has a good record at predictions), we should be able to get maker with our 31 or even 35 pick. He is currently projected to be #40.

Not sure I follow the purpose of taking both Qi and Maker -- very similar projects.

And if you're going to take Dunn, I can't see I see why you'd trade Bradley. He plays off the ball, without it in his hands, effectively. That's not Dunn's game. And Thomas has proven he can play off the ball effectively, not to mention Dunn's size allowing him to play SGs on the defensive end while IT handles the PG.

You trade Smart (if you can get any value).  Smart not very effective offensively regardless, but he's a total waste at the 2. And yes, he's a bulldog on the defensive end. So's Dunn. So's Bradley. So's Rozier, with any luck. A mix of Dunn, Bradley, Thomas and Rozier makes much more sense than Dunn, Smart, Thomas and Rozier (not a single one of whom is a natural SG).

A three man weave of Dunn, Bradley and IT, with spot minutes for Rozier? That's nice.

So don't take them seriously. Someone is going to take a chance on him in the 1st round.

With respect to Qi - I believe China requires their players to stay in China until age 21 or 22.

DX also hasn't taken team needs into account yet on their mock draft.

They have Celtics taking

#3 Bender
#16 Taurean Prince
#23 Ante Zizic
