One player I don't want traded is Brandon Bass.  Yes, there are more talented players on this team that I would hate to see leave, e.g.,Zeller, Olynyk, Smart, etc.  (as a qualifier I haven't been watching the team over the past few weeks.  This week being the exception.)

Why wouldn't I trade Bass?  Because, in my opinion, he's been the most stabilizing influence on the team this year.  We have great nights from just about everyone, but from I've seen, he's been the most consistent. (I said consistent...not the best.)  Lately, Zeller and Olynck may have over-taken him in this regards.

While others  chuck up 3 pointers and pray the ball goes in, he's been hitting uncontested layups and dunks off of rebounds and passes with regularity.  This seems to happen game after game. Plus, he generally takes outside shots within his range.  I realize he didn't have a great shooting night last night, but he was in the mix for numerous rebounds and put backs.  He was relentless against these taller players.

Another reason the Celtics should considering keeping him is because he is often the one most responsible for breaking scoring droughts.  Maybe some of you have noticed this as well. We do not need another 35% 3 point specialist or a mid to late first rounder who may or may not help this team.

If this were last year I wouldn't be posting this.  However, he's been better this season...hopefully Danny realizes this too.
Pls consider
i/we are in a rebuilding phase when most players are treated as casino chips
ii/our GM has a gambling addiction
iii/ Bass in this roster is the bball equivalent of being handed a 2-7 in poker
