SF included
San Antonio
Dallas
Sacramento

Honorable mention: Portland, Washington, Brooklyn

With KD healthy, OKC bumps Sacramento.

Cleveland next in line.

PF & C only
Memphis
LAC
Chicago

Honorable mention: NOP, OKC, Portland

Washington next in line.

Question for those who have watched NBA basketball longer than I have since I'm a youngster: Any particular player(s) from the pre-2000s that Marc Gasol reminds you of?

i am unsure how we can both include and exclude SF.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm confused by your confusion. Rank the three best starting frontcourts (SF/PF/C) and the three best starting PF/C combos.

I would add Dallas (Dirk, Tyson) and Atlanta (Horford, Millsap) to best big man combos.

Oh and Indiana - Roy Hibbert and David West.

Thought above them. I wouldn't put them above any of the top three. Would you put any of those combos ahead of those listed in the honorable mention? I could understand the argument made to put any of the three ahead of Portland and OKC but not ahead of NOP.

I have Dallas and Atlanta alongside Memphis as my top 3.

DAL (Dirk/Tyson/Parsons), MEM, and POR.

Loving what Cuban, Coach C and Co are doing there in DAL...not only are their starters strong, but they have good depth on their bench at all spots.

They are and will remain my Dark Horse team coming out the West.

MEM is strong as well, but they can't match DAL's depth. POR has good depth, too. Kaman's been playing well off the bench for them.

But I'd take DAL up front.

To go from the bottom up, Celtics are the worst frontcourt in the league mainly because the starting power forward and center take 3 pointers leaving no one to rebound their shanks. Never will you ever see Memphis's frontcourt taking 3's which means they are actually there to rebound, doesn't seem like a difficult concept.

LAC best one hands down. You can't beat the Griffin Jordan combination.

Randolph and Gasol?  I would rather have that.

If they had Chris Paul they would probably have a title.  They would be better than the Clippers for sure.

You're right - that really is nonsense. So apparently taking (and making) threes is the sole reason our front court is (in your opinion) the worst in the league. First off, I don't agree that they are the worst and if I did, I would at least comment on their defense.

I am typically not one to disrespect others' views, but I am pretty sure that comment was posted just to get people mad, not make a valid point.

It sure seems that everyone seems to sleep on Houston.  No respect for Howard, Ariza, and especially Terrence Jones.  When all three are healthy and start, that is a stellar front line.  Superb defensively!!!

I think that some need to remember Griffin's 69% FT shooting and Jordan's 38% FT shooting when putting them so high.  Also, don't forget Blake's tendency to rarely, if ever, win in the playoffs!!!!
