gotta at least kick the tires right?  toss in a draft pick?

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
No thanks... And we're tossing in a draft pick. Yuck. The one thing we desperately need is a Center... Not a combo guard whose explosive play may be different coming next year.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

I'd do it.  Chicago would only do it if they were really angry at Rose for refusing to play.

I doubt Chicago can even answer the offer, what with being doubled over with laughter and all.

Eh...not sure they'd laugh quite as much as you assume. Thibs thinks very highly of rondo for one, and you know if rondo was in roses position right now- he'd be playing hands down, roses people have been complaining about the parts around him...really they should be soured. a pass first point guard could fair pretty well with a team able to make the second round without a gunner like rose

Lol they'd never do this. Their front office is incompetent, but not that incompetent.

Eh they probably wouldn't do it I agree...but the bulls would be a contender with rondo and no rose...heck they seem to be without either....I think a lot of their roster would fit better with rajon tbh.

Yeah no way they do that, but I think this they might actually consider

Rose, Boozer

for

Rondo, Garnett, Sullinger, Bradley, #16 (or future 1st if after draft)

I still don't think Chicago does it, but they might give that one pause.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Crime in Chicago would double overnight.

Yawn...could you imagine fans reaction if rondo pulled what rose has been doing to his team the past months? He never would, but he'd be crucified and run out of town...little rose still on a pedestal...cute really

I'd wait and see what Rose looks like coming back, he's not much of a player without his explosiveness.

No way Chicago gives up on Rose for anything less than LeBron or Durant at this point in time.

If Rose returns and is unable to play at as a high level, they will reconsider his place in Chicago. But not until then. For now, he remains their franchise guy and a MVP winner with 10 years ahead of him.

I've actually thought about this myself, but at the end of the day it's likely pie in the sky.

I can't imagine the Bulls dealing their star player for a point guard who may not be 100 percent by opening night.

Why would you want a star who tore his ACL and much of his game is pure athleticism?

Sure Rondo's game includes athleticism, but it doesn't solely depend on it. Rose, however, is good because of his athleticism. The guy just injured his knee and has yet to come back.

Seriously, you people just want to trade everyone for the heck of trading.

Chicago wouldn't take it and Celtics fans would be happy.
