I pin all of this on Danny Ainge. I think he's had the type of year which should get him fired
Terry - Bust
Lee - Bust
Bass - Bust
Green - Talented but inconsistent (Perk/Green trade - FAIL)
Crawford - Bust
Terrence Williams - Bust
Not picking up a capable big or two last summer or at the trade deadline - FAIL.
Could've had Blatche, Martin or Birdman for a song and dance. Instead, Ainge stood by signed a bunch of scrubs at the trade deadline.
And don't think for a second that KMart isn't enjoying sticking it to the Celtics right now. I know I would be.
Danny Ainge did a pretty dang good job in the off-season, given his situation.
Name another player as capable as Terry that we could have gotten to replace Ray's role last off-season. Please.
We got Lee with Moore, Johnson, and a 2nd round pick. CHEAP. You can't draft a bust with a 2nd round pick. Don't ignorantly think that Moore and Johnson would have contributed - it would be very hypocritical of you ("signed a bunch of scrubs at the trade deadline").
Bass, we really needed. He was crashing the boards today and he's a good role player. A bust is someone who doesn't contribute - are you saying Bass doesn't contribute at all?
Green - Your argument is sooooooo invalid. He's been freaking consistent since he got over his slump!!! Look at Perk and look at Green. Who would you rather have right now? Trading for Green was a very good idea both at the time and now. Danny was thinking about the future, and he did a really good job bringing in Green. Honestly, where would we be without him right now?
We got Crawford for Collins. Enough said. At least Crawford has some talent.
This is ignorant Ainge hate gone wayyy too far.
