Translating....

If the Celtics have the same team next season, can they compete with the Heat if the Heat only have two out of James/Wade/Bosh remaining on their roster?

Yes, we can beat them even with the Three Stooges, but we can't stay healthy, so there goes that.

Of course, if LeTravel doesn't play for Miami for whatever reason, they're first round fodder.

heat would be in same position as Cleveland without LBJ.  his nearly triple double every game and 45 minutes of defense and unending dunks and fast breaks every game makes even the Bobcats instant contenders.

Long as LBJ is healthy and under 31 years old, they will be favorites.

only injury ...or Lady Luck is liable to upset his applecart.

the way the NBA is today,  only the lakers have the draw to put together enough superstars to derail LBJ

sad facts........I don't think even OKC can get it done, now they lost Hardin

As long as LeBron is on that team, this iteration of the Celtics are not beating them.

We might as well put Tyrion in at center.

Dwayne Wade is still a superstar that could, like Lebron, rejuvenate any team in any circumstance. Bosh is an 8-time consecutive all star - 2006 to 2013. The Heat's defense are one of the best in the NBA.

Do you really think they'd become the second worst team in the NBA? I hope you don't - The Heat without Lebron are still a pretty good team.

With the 16th pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select Daenerys Targaryen (and her 3 dragons + 8000 Unsullied) from the continent of Essos!

disagree...d-wade really needed some help he 1st won his ring shaq payton posey walker mouring etc;
now as you say lebron is gone they are still a contender? i don't think so...
lebron 40+ points a game + 18 rebounds really help them a lot, if the last game blowout cleveland vs heat, would the heat cope up on score? i don't think so...it's lebron who put them to a close game and won the game... d-wade is getting somewhat old, some injuries in the past, bosh is too soft in center position that is why a team like spurs memphis lakers can beat them, even wizards with nene and okafor...
mike miller is going to retirement
rashad lewis is a bad pick-up
juwan howard is old
noris cole is just getting there
ray allen is old, just a 3 pointer guy
mario chalmers is on trade rumors in the past
shane battier? udonis haslem? joel anthony?

the reason heat beat the celtics because of lebron getting hot and cannot be stop
when they faced the okc, ibaka was in,
battier and lebron pushes ibaka away, so shot blocks did not work, and okc are small line-up
same as celtics, doc rivers loves small players
if you go small againt's the heat you will never beat them
they will go small very quick and will kill you in 3 pointer guys
dallas used zone defense + a big man marion chandler novitzki, they beat the heat
if we outplayed bosh, KG on bosh
force lebron to hit long jumpers
force wade to hit long jumpers
clogged the middle if they attack
let them missed even ray allen and battier contest those shots, if they missed brandon bass for rebounds
i think we can beat them
NO LEBRON NO HEAT

Cavs healthy , with ALL there players , includijng Varajeo destroy the  HEAT with out LBJ.

Wade is not a superstar anymore,  he has good games , but can't carry the rest of the team like he did when he was young.

You put LBJ on the CAV's today and they are better than the heat.

Spo is a nothing coach, RIley is the puppet master.

The James era won't end soon enough for me.

True: LeBron James could go to literally any team in the league and they'd be instant fringe contenders.

False: If LeBron wasn't on Miami, they'd be a first-round exit team, a low round playoff seed.

Probably: The healthy Celtics could beat the healthy Heat without LeBron

Having A Hard Time Deciding: The healthy Celtics could beat the healthy Heat without one of Bosh or Wade
