Lakers

PG: Deron Williams
SG:
SF:                 (Andrei Kirilenko)
PF: Andrei Kirilenko
C: Dwight Howard

This year, not so much.

But boy, next year, if they bounce back and play up to their talent, watch out.
Yeah, I can understand some pessimism based on the way Williams and Howard have performed this year fighting most of the year through nagging injuries, but I still wouldn't right them off come late season or playoffs as that is still months away and both could heal.

An off season without back surgery or playing in the Olympics will probably be good for both though and next year, I would expect huge things.

He can't assist or rebound nearly as well though. I can see my team leading the league in rebounding and assisting. ;D Who else should I look to add now that I have Mr. Vasquez?

The shooting and long range bombing are off the chart great. The defense.......

Still, they are young and with some bigs that can rebound and defend and a bench that can score, the start of something good.

I got to tell you though, having an Avery Bradley type to start and bring Klay Thompson off the bench in the shooter/scorer/6th man role would absolutely make your back court dynamic.

I actually suggested this to CC before the draft started(or close to it). He wasn't liking the idea.

Say what you want but having your top three guys and keeping your familiarity with each other is huge in my book, especially if you are a title contender in real life.

Amazing offense and shooting. Not sure on the D.

Would look for a low post scorer in round 2. A defensive wing soon too that could possibly start.

Dwight and Williams need to bounce back but still a solid team this year. Next year, quite possibly a deadly contender.

OKC

Durant and Westbrook...

Sitting on the last pick but willing to use that in a trade for a big.

Any suggestions?

Wall
Bradley
Hayward
Gibson
?

Thoughts?

Setup to take on bad contracts to get extra 1sts.

I see the worst team in the NBA.

I'm rebuilding big time, so I'm glad you said this.

I'm banking on development from Wall and Bradley.  If they can develop jumpers, I think I can have a top backcourt.  The defense is there, no question, but offensively, we're going to struggle mightily.

Hayward and Gibson are good glue guys who bring defense.  Both are great rebounders for their positions, and if I can find a 5 who can step out and shoot the mid-range jumper, it opens up lanes for Wall to drive.

In three or four years, my team could be very, very good.
