Yi Jianlin fits the first criterion well and the second so-so.

Love to have him. Can we sign him?

delonte west
kenyon martin

I agree, they are the best that is out there, unless someone better gets bought out.
In vacuum, maybe. In reality, probably the two worst option.

this is my opinion
brandon bass can spread the floor but cant rebound and box out and misses a jump shots most of the time
he is a good defender though but lack of size

about on the doc rivers quote
a guy who can rebounds and spread the floor

example:
kenyon martin is that guy (Example Only)
would you put brandon bass as a starter
or just sit on the bench and just a replacement player?

that is why i think brandon bass will be traded mid-season
or we should trade him,
but the question is who is the person out there who can spread the floor?
i will get a guy who can rebounds but cannot spread the floor than a guy like bass who can spread the floor but cannot rebounds and box out at all

example:
anthony randolph
giving him 20minutes, the last time he played 27 minutes
17 points and 9 rebounds i think

kevin seraphin
he can get 9 or 11 or 8 rebounds too

jason thompson
who can rebounds too

timofey mozgov
can get 15+ points
9 or 8 or 10 rebounds per game not bad at all
+ 1 or 2 blocks

wilson chandler
can rebounds and score

greg smith
royce white
patrick patterson

greg monroe
can rebounds

amir johnson
can rebounds

ilyosova
dalembert
both can rebounds

andray blatche
can rebounds

luis scola
a good player too

etc; etc;

The guys you listed are mostly unattainable [Monroe, really? We couldn't even acquire him for Rondo]...Bass isn't going to net us anything more than a similar player with us giving up a valuable draft pick to dump his contract.

Might as well roll the dice on them.

If they play up to capabilities could be pretty great pick ups.

If not, well what or who else could we have got?

It's pretty tough right now until after the deadline and buy outs.

At the moment though no doubt these would be the no brainer options IMO. Especially considering we aren't exactly favorites right now and we desperately needs bodies.
