He is killing the opposing defense..instead Doc went back to a tired KG&Pierce pick and roll..If Doc just keep JG in for another min or two. we are on a 8 winning streak now

Honestly I would have kept green in for the rest of the way at the 4. Bass wasnt rebounding the ball anyway.

Taking out our best scorer for the game and only guy attacking the basket to close out the game is the last thing Id expect a great coach to do.

I agree. Green was owning the Bobcats in the first half, in the post and off the dribble, getting buckets and getting to the foul line.
But you know Doc ... he'd rather ride a bunch of tired old guys than stick with younger guys who are getting the job done.

Agreed. Jeff is shooting well over .500 this month and he only took 8 shots. He should have taken 15 tonight, considering PP's career high in minutes last night.
Going to the PP well once again tonight was likely to fail. Would be nice for Doc to just tell Jeff and the team that he needs 15 shots. Good things will happen.

And that's why he's not a great coach. Doc thinking is ...Oh hey let me pull my fresh guy for my middle aged stars that I just played 900 minutes the night before. He's turrible

Seriously. I never thought I'd say this, but Doc threw the game by taking out Green. What a boneheaded decision.

I logged in here just to write that as I was screaming at the TV DO NOT sub Green when I saw PP coming to the table! And the Genius Doc went ahead and solved the biggest issue the Bobcats were facing!! I'm like, really.. I put this season inconsistencies on Doc! What baffles me even more is that none of our Celtics reporters/experts are mentioning this!!

Doc's thinking...
Gee i have this guy named GReen that plays 3 postions... Hmmm.... Our third best player.... third best scorer and defender... ummmm should he be on the court? yes? no? oh wait. Terry and courtney lee should keep playing, and lets throw in Bass.. Yeah Green who? Green who plays the 2 3 AND 4 positions better than half the roster... 18 pts off the bench with zero plays run for him... yeah
coaching is tough..
I havn't been this frustrated since BIgBaby got minutes over Leon Powe. Actually this is WORSE. I havn't been this frustrated since I saw Telfair taking ALL of Rondo's minutes for HALF an 82 game season. Here we go...
