Fab Melo has been recalled from the Red Claws for the game against Denver.

Is one of our bigs hurt?

Is Melo hurt and need treatment, hence the recall?

Is something else happening?....trade

Practice body...exposure to big show?

Given how lost he looked last time out, I am having a hard time seeing why he has been recalled.

Insight, anyone?

Maybe he's a good cook?
No rookies to carry bags?
He can see over snow banks?
Can't get playing time with the claws, needs run somewhere?

I was going to say this in the other Melo thread... I knew he was only sent down b/c we had 3 days off and we weren't going to practice... I knew he would be called up for the game. There aren't any injuries, it makes sense!

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celtics)"-Lady GaGa (teehee)

It's because they know we will win this in a blowout and Melo can get game reps.

The Red Claws played the "Ants" today, and with the storm  Melo was not going to be able to travel to that game.   The Celtics have room.  The Nuggets are a good team, with bigs, who play a similar game to the Celtics...why not?

One can only hope..............

...for...

-a 20-point game by Melo
-more than 5 minutes of playing time
-two blocks
-a rebound or three
-post-up moves
-first big off the bench when Collins/Wilcox are both diagnosed with the flu
-the addition of a "Car-" to his last name
-a straight-up trade for LeBron

If a big is hurt in game we need Melo to play.

That is almost certainly why.

I think he's doing his comedy routine as the half time show.  His bit is called "defending the pick and roll".  ;D
