1. They have very loyal fans. If you bother to read the rest of it and comment, I consider you a loyal fan.

2. The record is ten times as embarrassing to them as it is to us bloggers.

3. They have a supportive ownership group.

4. They continue to give a decent effort and manage to stay in most games with a chance to win.

5. They have very good demographics so the talent base will always be there.

6. They are liked by the media for the most part.

7. There is no pointing fingers or backbiting.

8. They believe they will get better.

9. They take pride in their work.

10. Luck and energy will be on their side in the long run.

In other words - they need to stick this out and things get better. There are no quick fix trades for this team. A major blockbuster deal is basically waving a white flag not only for this season but for the next three or four seasons as we have to wait for the next great superstar to arrive in the lottery. That could take Eighty Six Years. Where will you be in 2099?

By you title, I thought this was going in a different direction.  I thought you were going to focus on player progression or specific games.

Before I write 10 quick nice things, I have to say I wholeheartedly disagree with your #s 2, 4, 5, 9, 10.

The entire issue this season is that the team is NOT giving enough effort and showing enough heart.  It's been reported by the media numerous times that too many players are taking the losses too easily and joking around too much.  There seems to be growing dissension in the locker room between players who hate losing and players who don't seem to care enough.  There is almost a complete lack of pride from this team.  Multiple double-digit losses to the lowly Pistons.  4-game losing streaks.  I'm not seeing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow you're seeing.

Also, Boston is notorious for NOT being a free agent destination.  That is one reason I'm calling for trades.  Trades are the only way Ainge can get talent to Boston.  Look it up.  It's well reported.  Boston is not a free agent destination in the NBA.

But, I can write 10 quick nice things about this team.

1) Sully's progression.

2) Bradley's defensive intensity.  It's a joy to watch great defense.  Though, I'm slightly concerned he may be an oft-injured player.  He needs to add more bulk to his frame if he's going to keep playing the way he plays.

3) Ainge's fearlessness with trades.  They may not always pan out how we want (Perk/Green), but he did bring us KG and Allen and a title, and I know he won't sit back and watch this team become a lottery team.

4) Doc FINALLY losing his temper.  Man, he's been so even-tempered the past few years, it was cathartic to finally see him call everyone out for not showing enough effort.

5) Melo's progression in the D-League.  He may actually amount to something in the NBA.  I'd love to see a 7-footer patrolling the paint.  I'd love it more if he were next to KG.  Call him up from the D-League!

6) Lee's growing confidence.  I think Lee is a keeper going forward.

7) When we beat the Knicks on 1/7.  Great game.  Classic Truth.  Classic KG.  Melo losing his cool.  All-around fantastic game.

8) They beat the Raptors when I took my wife and parents to the game on 11/17.  That's a nice thing.  The home team winning.

9) Knowing that regardless of the outcome of this season, there's always next season, and we can look forward to Pierce and KG in the rafters and the HOF.

10) Yes, the team does have loyal fans, but that speaks more about us than them.  I'm proud to be a Celtics fan, even though they're playing like crap.

1. Their uniforms are sharp.

2. The parquet floor looks great.

3. The dance squad members are all attractive.

4. The games are never blacked out on CSN.

5. They've won almost as many games as they've lost.

6. They are in the hunt for the playoffs.

7. On a geological scale, their stars are not very old at all.

8. Mike Gorman is a truly fantastic play-by-play broadcaster.

9. They love their mothers.

10. None of them have ever insulted me or my wife.

1) I find Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett's interviews hilarious and I always will.
2) I love KG and Rondo's 'us against the world' attitude.
3) I love to see Avery Bradley defend.
4) I love watching Jared Sullinger ball. Its like watching a chubby kid of average height just pester the crap out of the taller more talented kids in a CYO game using nothing but his bulk and a seemingly inexhaustible motor.
5) I liked the offseason acquisitions of Lee and Terry, and I'm starting to like the in-season addition of Barbosa.
6) I'm starting to believe Fab Melo can be at least an above-average starter in the NBA
7) Still wear Celtics unis
8) I have faith that Bradley and Sullinger can be long-term answers at the 2 and 4.
9) I watched Jeff Green dunk a few times. That was cool?
10) I still like watching them play basketball for the first 3 quarters.

1.They look like the team they were last year before they broke out: A streaky team. I think they've shown great chemistry at times and I think the only issue is consistency. I still believe this can happen.
2.Avery Bradley is one of the best defensive guards in the league and I'd hate to see him get traded
3.Ainge made a great pick with Jared Sullinger. The guy's been the most enjoyable rookie the Celtics have had since Rondo.
4.Courtney Lee has turned into the player we thought he would be when the Celtics acquired him. I call him Mini-Posey.
5.They beat OKC without Bradley. That has to count for something.
6.They have the talent on paper. They just need to utilize it correctly. I would say the three main culprits of that are Rondo, Jeff, and JET. The Celtics need them to play well to contend.
7.They aren't the baffling mess that are the Lakers right now.

Couldn't think of 10. Until they start winning again, I'll refrain from giving them any more praise.
