Giannis' 16 year old brother Alex Antetokounmpo measured 6'5 barefoot with a ridiculous 7'2 wingspan at the Basketball Without Borders Europe camp in Belgrade. Pretty sure we'll be talking more about him down the road.

If nothing else, the genes in that family produce some amazing physical specimens.

Both parents were Olympic athletes.

Ahhh, that explains it to a degree. That all 5 sons are professional athletes is insane

Both parents were Olympic athletes.

There is no mention of this in Wikipedia, if anything they were immigrants, and their children grew up in extreme poverty.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giannis_Antetokounmpo#Early_life

Nor could I find anything on Google.

If you have a link, that would be greatly appreciated.

It briefly mentions under 'personal life' that his father was a professional football (presumably soccer) player, and that his mother was a high jumper.

Many thanks Gouki, that's very interesting.

I still have doubts they both were Olympics athletes. The Nigerian football team is among the best in Africa, if not the world. There should have been some info online on his late dad if he had played for them.

The father was indeed a football player but he played in the low German Divisions. Maybe he did play for the Nigeria NT but i doubt it. In any case he was not even close to be considered a good player-athlete.
