KD is such a short sighted fool. If he cared about the narrative about "needing help to win" He would and should have signed with boston

Sources say some of Durant's former teammates believe Durant will sign with the Knicks. Sources also say that several of his current teammates have told friends they expect Durant to sign with the Knicks as well.

"Just a matter of putting pen to paper," said one agent of another top 2019 top free agent about Durant to the Knicks.

The belief is that Durant sees the opportunity to win with the Knicks as a way of changing the way he's viewed after joining a Warriors' team that had just won 73 games.

"Winning there would change the narrative around him," one executive said.

Multiple executives expect Kyrie Irving to join Durant with the Knicks.

Boy, if he can't even handle the likes of Richard Freakin' Jefferson in the media, then good luck with the NY media. They're going to tear him to shreds  :P

I am confused. If Kyrie is to join Durant in NYK and they use their pick and young players to trade for a big name, then how will the narrative around him really change? He would be going from one super team to another.

I know we hear about Kyrie going to the Knicks far too often so that possibility is there, but [obviously] I sure hope he shuts everybody up on July 1st and signs a max in Boston.

He’s not going to win with the Knicks unless they build a superteam around him.

It is a lot different joining a team that had already won a title than being a "founding" member of a title team.

which i do not expect to happen. Dolan and the front office are terrible and i dont think they can provide the supporting players necessary to create a winning team.

durant to the knicks? good. one more great player exiled to a bad team so as to make it easier for the celtics.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Anyone want to wager any bets as to which free agent that agent represents?

Hard to see Durant going to NYC without someone else agreeing to go there with him.

I don't think he has the stomach to be a lone star.

Being a New Yorker, I know this is the biggest offseason for Knicks fans since 2010 when they were convinced they were signing LeBron.

They really believe they are landing Durant and a sidekick.

There’s just sooooo much smoke here that is now be surprised if he doesn’t go there. He will sign first, someone else will follow. Right now I’d guess either Walker or Butler. What pick they get and what they decide to do with it can get them a third star.
