He was the second leading scorer to Thornwell in his sophmore season at South Carolina.

He's a 6'7'' guard with a 7' wingspan, but average athleticism. I was not a big fan of his game before the draft, but I guess he does offer a potential deep bench versatile guard. It's possible he develops his guard skills, but I'm doubtful. Pretty inconsistent shooter.

I think I would have preferred a big for emergency depth. The pool of guys willing to take a 2-way must be pretty shallow.

This would have been my preference as well. A big that can absorb 6 fouls is a valuable asset when you are shorthanded. A Greg Kite type guy would have worked.

Player without an ACL since age six.

Almost 7 foot wingspan. Huge hands. Good defender, can't shoot.

Watch this dunk at 52 seconds in. He looks like Tatums size and length with this dunk.

Naah he's no Tatum.  Not even close.

However as a 6'7 PG he could pose some mismatch problems.  Looks like a combo guard type who needs to improve his ball handling and shooting.  But physical ability looks to be there.

If nothing else he could give us some minutes of defense towering over the opposing PG... how is his lateral quickness though?  Those highlights don't really show that.

Oh and the fact that he is Reggie Lewis' cousin.  Well there is some pedigree and sentimentality at the same time there for Celtics fans who remember Reggie.

I realize that this is a moot point as he won't be playing in a game of such magnitude (I think), but in theory he'd make for a nice defensive matchup on Shaun Livingston :-\.
