I wonder how much Kobe charges for these sessions.  Reportedly Hakeem charged Amare Stoudamire $50k a week.

Good Lord. So Amare paid Hakeem $50K per week to basically ignore his advice?
It is within his character, He also spills good wine for a bath.

Did he really ignore him?  Amar'e was starting to evolve from a physical beast to a high-skill player with much better footwork  in NY before his body completely crapped out.

That said I do wonder if Kobe's getting his money here or if he's just doing the training for free and like, monetizing it by posting videos and diaries online like he seems to be into.

Tatum's training with Kobe be like...

Tatum: What do you do when you get double-teamed?
Kobe: Shoot the ball.
Tatum: What if you see an open teammate?
Kobe: Look at them and then shoot the ball.

JUST SHOOT THE BALL TATUM. IF THAT'S HOW IT'S GONNA GET YOU FIVE CHAMPIONSHIPS, DO IT.  8)

I cant wait to see tatums 2nd year jump. He might not get the stats because of all the mouths to feed on the team but he may be all-star caliber this year.

look at jaylens year one to two jump

Ceiling: Kobe Bryant
Floor: Kevin Durant

 :o :o :o :o

I'd reverse that.

But PRIME Kobe Bryant > Kevin Durant

I'd take Durant's MVP season over any season of Kobe's.

Over their careers, Durant has been an equal-if-not-better scorer and where Kobe had some high level defensive seasons early in his career and then coasted on reputation, Durant has worked at it, gotten better, and has been a better defender than Kobe ever was these two seasons in GS.

If y’all got uncomfy seeing that pic of Kobe/Tatum, I’ll just leave this tweet/video right here:

https://twitter.com/drewhanlen/status/1018537619309772802

I, on the other hand, love it. Kobe was a killer on the court. I’d love if Tatum develops that same level of skill.

Always hated Kobe the competitor. But he seems like a pretty cool dude after retiring.

i respected the great laker players and teams. I do not respect lebrons teams.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Still hated Ron Artest back in Game 7.
