Jatum Tatum gonna fit?

We will need both he and Jabren Brown to keep trending up because the vets can work with anyone. Chabres Barkley needs to know that most of the guys on the team are known for being unselfish or at least guys who just go work and do their jobs. People questioned Kyrie's willingness to share the rock but underrate the sharing he did with LBJ and Love. I think we can make it work, the players and the coaches seem to be the types who are willing to make sacrifices for the good of the team.
We need all the young guys to work out with vets --  Jakarta Bird, Robin Williams, Jack Lemon,  Brad Wanatabe... ;D

I love that Tatum is working on his game - there was something else the other day.  Looks like he's getting better and making it a full time job.  On the other hand what about Brown?  Look at the article on the front page - Where in the world is Jaylen Brown?.

Makes me wonder if Brown is as serious as Tatum about getting better.

Isn't the big story about Brown this summer that he wanted on the summer league team but Brad said no? The other story is about him working out with T-Mac and there was video of him in the gym with Brad Stevens as well.

The dude is committed.

if he picks up Kobe's desire to win, competitiveness and drive to improve his game then great.

if he picks up Kobe's gunner mentality and me-first attitude then bad.

I'm gonna add "footwork" to your first list.  Kobe had excellent footwork and Tatum's already really good at it.

Yep. Learning skill work and work ethic from Kobe is terrific.

As long as he doesn't give Jayson any advice on women, we'll be all set.
Watch Kobe take credit when Tatum becomes a top 5 player in the league.
Kobe: "I turned him into Black Mamba II".

Was going to say the same and there was already a post about Brown working with TMac. Somebody in this thread is not paying attention.

TBH, never been big on Kobe's game. Always though he was good but never LeBron/MJ level. We'll see if Tatum picks up anything..

Completely agree. But Kobe had excellent work ethic and a lot of skill. Good form, good footwork. If that's what Tatum is watching, I think it's for the better.

Seriously, right? I think if there is one guy on the team whose work ethic you don't need to worry about, it's Jaylen Brown. The dude was a monster last summer and he appears to be right back at it again. Many think he doesn't have the same potential as Tatum, but there is no denying the fact that he is going to push himself as far as he will go.

This is great to see Tatum hungry to improve his game.  He is learning from one of the greatest scorers of all time.  Kobe Bryant is the #3 points scoring leader all time guys.

Kobe apparently is willing to give Tatum his time to improve a young rising star.  I find it surprising but also refreshing that he's doing that despite the Laker-Celtics history.  Tatum could definitely pick up pointers on work ethic, footwork, handle, scoring moves, off the ball movement, etc.  Tatum is like a basketball sponge right now.  He said he was working on his body and now he is onto skills.  Can't wait to see the final product on the floor this season!

Honestly what is Lonzo Ball doing this offseason besides sending instagram pictures of his abs?
