Imagine actually being that stupid. I watched it twice to make sure it wasn't fake.
I always thought Sarah Palin to be a bit of a dolt but even she was able to see Cohen's manipulation of her and walked out on him when he tried something like this on her. Props to Sarah.
That's some funny stuff. I hope the constituencies of those Congressmen get to see this, realize how very stupid their representatives are and elect them out of Congress.Boy I hope these guys knew it was a prank and went along with it otherwise this goes from being hilarious to being extremely sad.

Sarah Palin and Roy Moore have also mentioned being duped. But if you believe you're acting as an endorser and you understand the words you're saying, is it really being duped into anything but accidentally revealing how radical and/or promiscuous your views really are?And any of the current Reps who get voted out will just wind up in the cushy lobbyist/pundit jobs the ones out of office have.
..."Toddlers are pure, uneffected by fake news and homosexuality""Children under 5 years old have elevated levels of the pheromone Blink 182 produced by the part of the liver called the Rita Ora. This allows nerve reflexes to travel along the Cardi B pathway to the Wiz Kalifa"...
I have mixed feelings about duping people on camera. It's easy to fool people. For me to chuckle and enjoy, it really needs to be when someone reveals true despicable values/ideas when they think are speaking with the likeminded (or when successfully baited by a contrarian). It is too easy to dupe people into everyday stupidity -- which I usually find more "spine-wrenching" (hard to watch) than funny. Borat was brilliant, but there were moments that regular folks were just made fools of -- and that's not really funny. But, getting politicians to reveal their extremist thinking -- that's OK. In fairness, getting some of the far left folks to reveal extreme thoughts, perhaps on socialism or other such views, would be equally interesting and Cohen should provide equal time.
