This is interesting:

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/07/putin-blows-apart-russia-collusion-probe-says-russian-group-gave-400000000-to-hillary-clinton-video/

I got to "We report the truth - And leave the Russia-Collusion fairy tale to the Conspiracy media" and stopped reading the rest of this fake news....

In terms of what Putin said, the article is factual enough.  It doesn’t make it true, but Putin obviously has a grudge against this Bill Browder guy. Funneling $400m to Hillary? Extremely doubtful? A bit of a scumbag who made billions in Russia alongside Putin until their relationship went sideways? That seems probable.

Thanks for the cliff notes.  :D

Again, I didn't bother with the article given the clear agenda....

Celtics fan for life.

Yes, it has been interesting to see Fox News take on Trump's performance (not Hannity, but actual news anchors).

Headlines right now at http://www.foxnews.com/ include:

"Trump faces bipartisan criticism over press conference with Putin"

"DOUG SCHOEN: Putin eats Trump's lunch in Helsinki -- This is no way to win against Russia"

" 'Not about decorum, but dignity': Cavuto says Trump should stop blaming predecessors, praising enemies"

"HALFTIME REPORT: Trump scores on his own goal"

And celebrates! Then he realizes it and blames his teammates.

It's not the money, itself, but rather the manner in which Browder made it that is the problem in the eyes of many Russians, I believe, although don't quote me on that, lol ;D, but beyond, well, that, Browder is also the architect of the Magnitsky Act, which is the real source of the dispute between himself and Putin. I think.

It's only interesting that this is what you find believable and most important about this whole fiasco. And that the RW media is now just openly repeating what Putin tells them.

Gateway Pundit has been repeatedly caught posting outright hoax stories, by the way. They actively tried to pin terror attacks on THREE innocent people in the last year. They're the fakest news source out there.

I will say this, though, and that is that if Putin actually managed to undermine America's "democracy" ::) with a mere 12 intelligence agents :o, that might just go down as the greatest geopolitical defeat in the history of the United States, lol ;D, and to think that he did it without firing a single shot. #EpicTrollJob

The Russians employed far more than "a mere 12 intelligence agents" in this campaign.

Among other things, they setup sites in various places around the world and hired dozens and dozens of people in often economically stressed areas to just sit at terminals and generate fake and misleading "news" stories and social media commentary related to the election.

You seem to be enjoying all of this.  I guess it would be funny if not for the already pretty heavy human cost that this administration has imposed on thousands of people.

Lol, I know, I was just making a joke, for the most part, based on the indictment, and as for "enjoying all of this", well, let's just say that seeing and hearing so many Americans act like this is "an act of war" ::) is beyond hilariously hypocritical, imo.

Case in point, have a look at these two Tweets BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS :o -

Quote
International order for 4 centuries has been based on non-interference in the internal affairs of others and respect for sovereignty. Russia has violated this norm by seizing Crimea and by interfering in the 2016 US election. We must deal w Putin’s Russia as the rogue state it is

I don't know about you, but in light of said statements, Richard N. Haass got me like ;D -

because, really, what else can you do in the face of such idiocy?

I'm all for a little dark humor.  I've been told my sense of humor is even a little twisted.

But I've stopped finding any of this funny long before the death toll in Puerto Rico hit near 5000 and long before some 3000 innocent children were kidnapped from their families.

I guess that makes me a Debbie Downer.

I don't "believe" anything about how you feel.  I only perceive what you put out there.

I'm only stating that I'm personally done with laughing at the insanity of this administration.  For me, I'm tired of being 'shocked' and 'amused' by the freak show that the White House has become.   It's not funny for me anymore.   Too many people -- including American citizens -- have been horribly, irreparably harmed by this president and his policies.

Okay, admittedly, this is probably my fault, and for which I sincerely apologize, btw, in that it appears that we're looking at this situation through completely different lenses, so in order to avoid any further confusion, please know that I am viewing said current events from the standpoint of Russian history, as I have long been fascinated by the aforementioned country and its past (I'm a, well, history buff. e.g., World War II, Russia, stuff like that), while, you, and quite understandably so, are looking at this situation from the perspective of a very concerned American citizen, and I'm with you, there, as I certainly did not vote for Trump, lol ;D. Am I making any sense, thus far?

Quite honestly, I'm shocked that anyone can still be, well, "shocked" by the actions of this "administration" at this point, btw, lol ;D, but at the same time, that's not to say that I don't share your same concerns #DoubleNegative ;D. All that I'm doing, here, is merely examining the issue from a different angle. Is that fair/okay?

Some of you are going to be horribly disappointed when democrats lose seats in November.  You will be even more disgusted when Trump whens in 2 years lol
Take out the liberal California nut jobs and Trump wins easily.  Hopefully the next earthquake does that.  Not many og us will be shedding any tears.  The wall will be built.  Obamacare will be gone. If you do not like where this country is heading, then leave.  The problem is many people do not have the balls to do it.  All those who said they would leave the U.S. if Trump won are still here lol
Now the liberal left are calling Trump what he did yesterday Treasonous.  LOL.  It was nut job Obuma who said the Russians were are friends.  That they could never fix a U.S. election LOL.  Obuma and Biden criticized Mitt Romney on 2012 saying that the cold war was over.
Of course that is before the though their buddy crooked Clinton would win.  Obuma told Trump to stop wining and go out and win.  So he did!!!!
Liberals have no idea what they are talking about.  In 2012 Russia is a friend.  In 2016 they cannot dictate U.S. elections.  In 2018 they are the enemy and they are infiltration are elections.  It is comical!!
For Pelosi, Schumer and Brennan to be discussing Treason is insane. They are lucky they do not live in Russia.  If they talked that way about Putin they would already be dead.  Heck, if they talked that way against George Washington or Thomas Jefferson, they probably would have been hung or put before a firing squad.  It is this great country that allow politicians to say what they want to organize their base.  They don't actually believe what they say.  It is all rhetoric.  The left is concerned; and they should be.  Talking about impeachment and a coup.  Ha!!  They lost the presidency.  They are losing seats in November.  They have socialiast candidates who are more left and idiotic beating traditional democrats.  If anyone think those Cuban like socialists are beating any Republican you are surely mistaken....unless they represent areas where people are on welfare, food stamps, govt housing, free medical etc.etc.
Finally, they are coming to the realization that everything that Obuma did in his 8 years of futility is a distant memory.  By the time Trump is done, people won't even remember he was a president.    One more thing to prove America is winning.  When other countries around the world don't like us, that means we are winning.  They want to see America fail.  They love when we are not a world power.  They should be scared.  The U.S. has fallen behind in trade, education, military, etc. Sine the great Ronald Regan was president.  They did not like him either.  Remember what Italy did last month?  When a boat of refugees tried to dock in Italy, the military sent them packing.  If they did not leave the military would have sank the boat.  Italian officials said the only way they will ever see Italy is from pictures in a magazine.  It is harsh, but this is how it must be moving forward.  No remorse. No emotions.  Just business.  That is Trump in a nutshell.  You want to be a good businessman, that is how you do it.  It is no different than free agents seeking the best contract, or teams trading beloved players (Pierce and Garnett for example).  If you want to succeed you don't wait for things to happen; you take charge. Liberals are talking about a blue wave.  It will be a tsunami and they won't know what hits them.

Why does half of political rhetoric sound like a promo for a wrestling match?

Except for the rooting for the mass death of political opponents, they usually steer away from saying things that are actually evil.

Come on, now. I know the line gets pushed too far in this forum. I know that our political system and news media is hopelessly broken, and that the rhetoric is insane. But wishing that an earthquake kills millions of voters seems a little much, doesn’t it? Please do better.
