Came out with this pure guess mentioning "source"...

Any body could have made such a guess...

Nobody reports on deal being prepared for restricted free agent... either the deal is offered or it's not.
He had a 2 min convo with Smart and want to take his chance at a guess covered up as source reporting...

Why is there not more people calling out that fraud of a reporter...?? The Celtics fan base deserve better!!

Ya if Blakely reported that my username was CelticD I'd doubt it. Why does he keep putting himself out there like that though?

If Blakely “stayed in his lane” as a likeable TV personality who regurgitated reports for casual fans and speculated about news, he’d be fine.

But, he doesn’t have good sources, and most of his stories feel completely made up. Let’s hope this isn’t the one time the blind squirrel finds a nut.

Wait, the Smart/SAC rumor that blew up the board last night was from Blakely? I came in late and assumed it was from someone more legit.  That’s a lot of wasted agonizing.  I’m going back to expecting the Kings to offer Rodney Hood.

Smart’s agent tells lies and the press eats it up.  The C’s offered Marcus a better contract last October and he turned it down.  Now the whining begins

C'mon they bill him as an 'insider'.... Have to say, except for Mike and Tommy the local coverage of the team borders on being unwatchable.
