Jabari Bird looked good against the Sixers, scoring 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 2 assists.  He was the star of the game against the Nuggets with 24 points 3 rebounds and 1 assist.  He brought down the house with a monster dunk to show off his athleticism.
Semi Ojeleye set the pace for the Celtics on both ends of the court against the Sixers.  He finished with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.  He had just 3 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists against the Nuggets.  The Celtics need him to be a leader on both ends of the court.
Guerschon Yabusele finished with 16 points and added 7 rebounds and 2 assists vs Philly.  When the game was on the line in the 4th quarter, he came up big and hit a layup and a 3 to assure the Celtics the victory.  Against the Nuggets he had just 7 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists.  Like Bird, he excited the crowd with a big dunk.  Now is the time for Yabusele to prove he deserves a roster spot this season.

Players to Watch

Willy Hernangomez, the 35th pick in the 2015 draft,  has played very well for the Hornets.  He had 16 points and 14 rebounds in the Hornets' win over OKC on Friday and followed that up with 22 points and 10 rebounds in their win over the Heat.
Dwayne Bacon was the 40th pick in the 2017 draft.  He started with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals vs the Thunder and then had 22 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals vs the Heat.
Miles Bridges was the 12th pick in this year's draft and so far has had 6 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists  and 14 points 5 rebounds and 1 assist.

The Celtics take on the Charlotte Hornets in their 3rd game in the Vegas Summer League.  They are 1-1 so far, beating the Philadelphia 76ers and then losing to the Denver Nuggets.   The Hornets come into this game undefeated after beating the OKC Thunder 88-87 on Friday and then beating the Miami Heat 94-90 on Sunday.

The Celtics had a day off on Sunday to regroup after their rather uninspiring 82-69 late night drubbing by the Denver Nuggets.   After Monday's game, the Celtics will once again be off on Tuesday while the other teams finish up their slate of 3 opening games.  They will play at least 2 more games as the SL playoffs begin on Wednesday.

As of now, there hasn't been an update on Robert Williams III's availability for this game.  He left the first game against the 76ers after bumping knees with someone and then missed the Celtics second contest against the Nuggets.  He is listed as day to day.  For the Hornets, Malik Monk, the 11th pick in last year's draft, fractured his right thumb after scoring 23 points against the Thunder and will be out for the rest of Summer League.
