It is so sad seeing talented post players such as Al Jefferson and Greg Monroe being phased out of today's game. If these guys were in their primes 12 to 15 years ago they would be multiple time all stars.

Nice to see a Chinese team named after an American military unit

Not at all surprising. He hasn't been a positive contributor to a NBA team for a few years now.

Loving what Qiuping Liu has done to shore up the Tigers' frontcourt.  Gonna be a great year!

it is only a coincidence.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

He had a 14 year career. It was good, but I expected a little more from him.

No one ever built an entire offense around him like they did for Dwight in Orlando. He was a brilliant offensive talent.

Largely because most teams considered him not good enough to build around. In Boston he was traded for Garnett. In Minnesota he was traded after being beaten out be Kevin Love. In Utah he was beaten out by Milsap.

He also did have injuries that probably prevented him from reaching peak career goals

Saying "he was not good enough" is a relative statement.  Being traded for any of those guys is actually a complement.   ;)

Al Jefferson was indeed a special offensive talent.  He did lack defensive skills (but so does Kevin Love!) but he wasn't terrible.  Al's problem was the league began changing a few years ago, and any bigs who didn't develop a 3-point shot were left out.
