Who's going to join Lebron in LA? Because the roster he's got there right now does not stand chance of getting him past GS or even Houston.

They could try Cousins on a short term deal, but honestly his injury presents a huge risk, too.

That's an awful option for them. That type of injury is devastating, especially for big men.

Yeah, but they may not have another legit choice. They aren't getting Paul George, Capela or Aaron Gordon, and Kawhi will cost them a lot in a trade I imagine.

Maybe Reddick? And re-sign Randle.

This deal has the potential to look bad for LAL two years from now.

Stop it. It's Lebron James. The revenue he'll generate for them will more than pay his contract.
You do have to wonder whether he’ll evnetually break down.  I mean, we know he will but it could happen sooner rather than later.

Surprised we haven't gotten a statement/proclamation from Lavar yet.

What sucks is we were so close to dethroning Lebron from getting to the finals.

Whats awesome would be beating him in a Lakers uni IN the Finals. :D

I'd say if Cousins goes to Lakers the offseason look pretty ideal..

Lakers probably feel confident they get Kawhi and shared that info with him. Either that or Lebron just wants to live in LA.

Redick still a FA? He’d be a good Lebron teammate.

That was fast. No waiting around this year.

We'll see what the Lakers do next.

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
Fantastic news. They will now go for a hurt Cousins or give up the farm for Leonard. Either way they won't be good enough to beat GS let alone Houston. Can't wait to watch Lebron be a failure as a Laker! The player I can't stand goes to the team I can't stand , perfect!
This is how I feel to a T. I hope nobody comes. I would not be surprised if Kevin Love comes to the Lakers too if the Spurs don't deal. I am glad he did not drag this out. If Gilbert truly did want him gone he got his wish. Lebron did bring a ring to Cleveland so he should chase his dream with the Lakers. More power to him.

unless he gets hurt he will still be a good player at the end of the contract
