Only if at least 2 of the 3 were willing to take less than the max.

No way Paul or Lebron take any less than the max. While incredibly rich, they are president and VP of the Players Union and it is their responsibility to get as much money as possible.

The only way it really works is with a trade. Kawhi doesn’t make anywhere near the current max; that is why he was being discussed as a possibility with the Lakers. It would also allow them to shed salary in the process.

there are already multiple threads on this exact topic. they might shed light on the topic for you.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I just don't see this happening, it could but LA does not have the cap space to sign all three and egos will limit their ability for a guy to take a tax cut.  I don't fear this either because there will only be one ball for them to use at a time.

Thing is someone is going to have to take a paycut, or even two. It seems counter-intuitive that someone like CP3/LeBron would take a pay cut, which CP3 has already voiced is probably not a possiblity, not to mention PG-13 is 28. If he opts out, which he will, if his intentions are to get paid the max, he's going to be seeking $30.3 million from OKC if he re-signs, which would force OKC to foot one of the highest bills for a roster that lost in the first round. This will be his only chance to get his next max contract whilst in his prime.

Quote
With George, along with Westbrook at $35.4 million, center Steven Adams at $24.2 million, Roberson at $10 million and Anthony at $27.9 million (with an early termination option), the Thunder could be looking at paying between $250 and $300 million for their roster.
