I often think, what if DA didn't make that trade?

IT was good enough to probably get us to the ECF with TR playing more at the beginning and not end of year due to IT's injury.  DA probably still doesn't give the long term contract to IT and we're looking at a PG need or giving the reigns over to TR as a distributor.

DA would be looking at the 8th overall pick and if he wanted to move up from there, It would be an easier accomplishment.

I know, I hate What If's too!

We definitely would have been worse during the regular season. IT was a super inefficient scorer this season (as opposed to his godly last season with us), and is a considerably worse defender than anyone on our roster.

I doubt we make the ECF. Kyrie's tutorship clearly had an impact upon Rozier and upon Tatum.

Despite my initial reaction, I am incredibly glad we made the trade. It is hard to accurately depict how poor IT played this season, which is frankly just sad.

My guess is that we’d be spending a lot of time talking about Kemba Walker.

Morris + Crowder + #8 for Kemba? Get ‘er done, Revisionist Danny.

I would do that without blinking. Love Kemba's game, even if he stuck (perhaps not for long) on a garbage team

Last season wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining.

idk, Crowder was part of that package, i would like to think we probably wouldn't have gotten as far as we did in the playoffs

without Crowder being traded, that wouldn't have opened up the starting SG position for Brown and it probably take a bit more time for IT to get back into the groove.

I don't know about anyone else but I don't miss not having the #8 pick at all.
