Certainly not for next year or even the one after that...but maybe long term.

He had a nice first year.  Did some good things on the defensive side primarily...but also provided some spacing with some threes offensively as well

But I’m wondering how much better he can get.  Will he always be a bench guy?

Could he be the replacement for Horford when it’s time?

I had the same thoughts during year.  He looks like he could fit into our current system with current team as a starter very nicely.  Granted by the time Horford is not starting for us who knows what the roster will look like.  Horford as a passing big is one of nba's best.  I really think of him as little Tim Duncan , Al is so solid is so many ways.  I think Theis healthy in playoffs we make finals, just him, no kyrie or Gordon, theis would have made enough of a difference.
Good first year.  Can't wait for next year.  Glad I don't have to figure out the roster, contracts, rotations...have fun Danny and brad!

In a pinch, I think he would be fine.   As a primary starter, we would have no bench depth at the five so, no!

Not on this team. He's our perfect bench big man

Bench player.  Not long enough nor athletic enough.  We've seen his ceiling.

He was a rookie but he is 26 years old.  He is what he is.  I guess he could be a starter to the extent that Baynes was a starter but he is not really a true NBA starter.

disagree. he can rebound, block shots, roll to rim and is working very hard on his 3 game. he can and will be even better next year. he still has to work on midrange game also. he is not at his ceiling. great bench big. complete steal by DA.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

He is definately a steal .. I had watched him in euroleague and i never thought he could be an important bench player for a contender.

But that doesn't make him a starter or that he will be a starter.

Unless a miracle happens during the summer  i'd be worried if he is our starting pf averaging 30mpg next season. He is good probably wil get better but he is very far from being a starting player for a champion
