Not too much (<$450k) but it could be the difference between the tax and not the tax, so it matters.

Fair enough. What about Kadeem Allen? Basketballreference.com says that it's guaranteed for $50,000, so yeah. I know that his is a two-way contract, but is that all that it would cost if we were to, say, release/waive him, or does he have some kind of buyout clause?

The $50k doesn’t count against the tax.  He’s sticking around another year as a 2-way.
