Would the Nets do this?   Accept Morris and #27 for their young center?

The only way the Nets do this would be if Billy King was still the GM. Horrible for Brooklyn.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

Why exactly does Brooklyn do this? Help me out because I can't think of a single reason why the Nets make this trade.

LOL   he might not even do it....  It is a bad offer and does not even work with cap space...   I was just trying work backwards.    Morris and #27 would not even move up to 20 in this draft.

They may not say No right away.  In a trade situation, you toss an offer out there, with an idea as to what the maximum you would go to make a deal.  If they counter, and you're in the ball park, then you make the deal.

What if, we offered this, and they countered and asked for the Memphis pick as well?  There might be a deal that could be made.

It's not always just a No, until negotiations stop.
