Seeing Parker walk would be rough. Been a really good servant for the Spurs.

All the other stuff is realistic, but I could see DMC walking
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

Yeah you're right on DMC but with his ACL issues i didn't think anyone else would risk a long term max deal on him.

With Parker I think the Spurs culture has hidden the fact that he is a jerk and Parker has already alluded to the fact that he may need to play elsewhere to continue his career.

Hopefully you made at least one un-Smart prediction.  ;)

I like the Smart prediction. Can see it happen. Or signs with Nets or Magic.

Leonard will not get supermax unless he shows commitment to Spurs.  I think he keeps holding out/uses injury card... Spurs trade him 50 cents on the dollar at the trade deadline.

Lebron wont follow the footsteps of Kobe. Its not his style imo. Family wants to stay put in Cleveland. He picks up option

Lakers though do sign PG13 to a max deal

For whatever reason I can see the Raptors and Cavs make a deal

Thompson + Clarkson + Korver + 8th pick for Ibaka, Lowry and Siakam

Cousins signs a two year deal with Nuggets

Chris Paul does something unexpected and signs with 76ers

Celts stand pat. Resign Baynes, Larkin. Move up in the 2018 draft and pick Divicenzo

The walking / Achilles pun was an accident, I swear ;D That’s true, his injury really shakes things up

Yeah, that’s true. And obviously they value an invested Kawhi over an invested old man Parker. Will be interesting where he could go

It could be exactly as you say or nothing or lots of fireworks everywhere.  Probably somewhere in the middle.  A year ago we had no idea and probably would have laughed at it about Kyrie.  I remember when I first heard the rumblings I thought they were crazy insane.

Good forecast. I think you are spot on for most.  But hope you are wrong about Smart.

I’ve heard of recent rumors of Paul George re-signing with the Thunder.  That situation is going to be interesting.

Could Parker walk and then (in this scenario) sign with the Lakers for a min deal to play with Lebron and mentor Lonzo?

Would the Lakers sign George without signing Lebron or another superstar?

If Lebron stays in Cleveland, he'll just be blowing candles on his birthday cake.  That team ain't winning it all...not with the Celtics and 76ers especially clawing at their heels!

Pretty much what I expect but I don’t think there will be a lot of money thrown at smart and he returns to Boston.

I think Philly resigns reddick and then over pays for guys because they have the cap space

Boston resigns smart and drafts Melton, the kid from Georgia tech or Grayson Allen

Lakers get James and George and add some spare parts.

I think James to the Lakers is a done deal and has been that way for a while
