I don't believe we'd need to move Kyrie to get LeBron.  There's no real beef.  Cavs have no leverage.
Me either. I also feel like they'd share the ball more under Brad, rather than their offensive sets either "LeBron find a shot for a yourself or a teammate", or the same direction for Kyrie.

Rolling out with Kyrie-Brown/Tatum-Hayward-LBJ-Baynes would be wild (assuming its Horford moved on).

I still don't think it happens, and I would still prefer to beat LeBron, but it's not unbelievable

we should help Knicks get Lebron, so
1). Kyrie won't want to play in new york anymore.
2). Knicks won't be good enough to stop us.
3). Prevent another superteam from forming.

LeBron all the way. Why is this even a debate?

Because we already have Kyrie and don't have to give anything up (except money, I guess) to keep him.

Because some folks, like ball movement, not the star show.   Also, some of us like CBS and LeBron would make him go to Duke to take over for Coach K in a heartbeat as LeBron ignores his coaches and sabotages them.

In short, he is a egocentric, who quits early and would be devoid of Celtic Pride!

I don't see Bron being unwilling to be a part of the Celtics' system if it meant him beating Golden State into a pulp and winning enough titles to make him the GOAT. As for him quitting early or not that's on our culture to prop him up when he's down. Why not fill him up with Celtic pride when he's devoid of it like so many players in the past?

Celtic fans are greeeedy

Team already has Irving and equipped to win it all next season

Tell Lebron to take his ego somewhere else

Also look the potential aftermath of Lebron leaving the Cavs

team looks like a graveyard.   High salary and a bunch of role players with half the value prior trades.  This is what Lebron does

LeBron's ego? How about Kyrie's!?!

Kyrie left LeBron so he can be "the Man" but with Tatum and Brown coming up there's no room for Kyrie to be The Man here either....Kyrie sees the writing on the wall too which is why he won't re-up or commit.

Kyrie WANTS to go to a BAD Knicks team so he can get ALL the glory in STATS and media attention.

Kyre's Ego is WAAAAYYYY bigger than LeBron's at this point.

Need to get Kyrie resigned

If he would commit to Boston then give me Irving

Younger and makes everyone better

I do not want to see the Celtics screw over him or Hayward unless Kyrie has given indication that he does not want to stay long term

Am I the only one who prefers a 25 year old Kyrie Irving over a 35 year old Lebron James? Not only for age reasons but for fit on this team?

I agree with you, however, LeBron can fit anywhere.

It’s not a question of fit now, but also into the future.  Irving is a better fit with the age range of this team’s other best players.

This. TP.

That's basically all speculative, lol. I think a guy who refers to himself "The Chosen One", and "The King", along with referring to himself in third person is pretty concrete evidence that LeBron's ego is planet-sized.

I want to watch Lebron's slow decline from our side, not his.

Welcome back LarBrd33!

Boston is Kyrie's team- I can't imagine Ainge trading him.
Boston is looking long term. Kyrie fits that plan.
Unless Boston is convinced they will have trouble signing him long term.

Lebron is a free agent. If Kyrie decides he will play with him- look for Ainge to make a 3-4 team sign and trade.

Lebron is not a shooter. Age plays a factor.
Kyrie is not a defender. Health plays a factor.

Wait and see.

On a different note- Watch Boston try to move up for Bamba or Mitchell Robinson.

I don't see why there's talk of lebron to Boston. Makes no sense to me. None of his buddies or business interests are here. Plus, I think we're really good as is. Why upset the system pursuing something that is unlikely to happen and could damage our incredible chemistry?

My guess is LA for post basketball business reasons,  NYK as surprise team for publicity / limelight/ business, Houston or Philly. Cleveland looks kinda bleak based on awful personnel management.

I think Lebron could play in Minnesota and still have as much limelight and influence as any American athlete.  He doesn’t need to play in LA or NYC to conduct business.
