I don't think he'll be on the board by the time Boston picks, but if Mitchell Robinson is somehow still available I feel like his potential upside is too good to pass up.

Otherwise, I'm not really a fan of any of the other bigs who might be available late in the first round.

So agree about this. With the way the league is going, feels like picking up a Whiteside, Jokic, even Capela in the second round, is getting less and less likely...

Also, this interview is bizarre. I kinda like that he says no more than absolutely required without even slightly coming off hostile. At first his answer to "what else would you be doing" comes off sounding pretty stupid, but then you realize he may just be a dyed in the wool baller. That "sir" thing to a journalist is cute.

Intriguing no doubt.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Trade it for a future 1st round pick.

There maybe good players in that spot, but I think we are all set and good to go even if we don't add any player with the guys coming back from injury.

Just move it and get a future 1st that we could use down the line.

But if we really are drafting somebody for it, if he's available, take Mitchell Robinson.

I have a question, does anyone know the last time the Celtics drafted someone who hadn't worked out for them?

Gerald Green?

Someone missed a work out due to a car crash.

I'm inclined to agree, with Jontay Porter out of the draft.  Spellman looks like little more than a big 3 point bomber to me, and I like McCoy's potential based on his numbers but his weaknesses don't match up well with what our team requires of our bigs.

Yep.  I remember getting crap from everyone here when I said that was a bad sign.

Kostas Antetokounmpo

Hah, no.

"Another Greek Freak? While the younger brother of the Milwaukee Bucks superstar did not make a ton of noise in college, he quietly has top-30 projections in our NCAA, combine, international and AAU models (and 31st in our overall model). Kostas is an efficient scorer and elite shot-blocker; perhaps he'll also end up a late bloomer like his older brother, Giannis."

He is really quite a bad basketball player though. He didn't even start at Dayton, and he can't shoot from range or from the free throw line. He is most certainly not an NBA caliber player. Only getting looked at because of his surname really

Yeah, still no.  Calling Giannis a late bloomer compared to Kostas is absurd.  At the same age, Giannis had finished his second year in the NBA and was already giving average-to-above-average levels of production.  By this time in his career stardom was absolutely on the horizon.

Kostas didn’t play, and this model doesn’t know why.  That doesn’t mean there isn’t a good reason for it.

J Evans

Alkins

B Brown

Brunson

Adding Brown means that 8 of the 10 players can be extrapolated from the team workouts. With Okogie rumored to be working out twice and Evans and Brown confirmed.

My guess at player who could be the last two based off of DA typical draft targets.

Troy Brown
Khyri Thomas
