How worried would you be?

How do you like the Celts chances vs a stacked Lakers team? (With also Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram)?

Dude, where are you pulling this nonsense that they can get all three guys? It’s not even close to possible with cap space, and the only way it could even happen at all is if they traded virtually all their young guys under contract and surrounded those three with veteran minimum contracts.

In other words - it’s not happening.

Again, trading Deng is not difficult. Lakers will shed whatever to make this work. You dont think they would?

Lebron could also take the Durant route and take a pay decrease

He doesnt need max. He will make more money some other way in LA

If healthy and that's a big if because George and Chris Paul are two of your top three guys, they might be able to take the Warriors to 6.

LOL.

The Lakers, even if they were able to trade Deng, might not even have enough to sign both Paul and LeBron. Three max guys is so impossible.

You said trading Deng is not difficult? Which team would take that contract?

And beat the Warriors?

You know Paul plus Harden and Gordon alone almost beat the Warriors if it was not for Pauls injury (having to do such heavy lifting)

No. The Warriors would still win.

He has two years at 18 million per season

You dont think some team that needs to meet the floor wont do it? (Also becomes a good trade chip down the line)

Add a future 1st, 2nds or Lonzo (if these three dont want him) to execute the trade

For a 1st round pick that will be in the late 20s? That's not enticing at all. Teams would rather sign one year deals to players to meet the floor that can play, rather than have a washed up Deng on their lineup, don't you think?

You don’t know what you’re talking about. All three of them, especially Bron and Paul, have made it clear they won’t play for less than the max, and maxing all three of them might legitimately be impossible on its own due to being over the cap, depending upon the final cap number, let alone having any sort of other teammates around them.

30 to 35 million for Lebron is not a big deal at this juncture of his career

It would be nice to get max plus join a legit team

But if not its plan #2

You know how much money he can make in LA (non basketball related)?

Texas has no state income tax and California has a very high state income tax. Meaning you get more money if you sign with the Rockets than the Lakers.

You make it sound like he needs the extra money

If he can get both thats ideal...but if he chooses a measly 5 million extra (in his case) over a chance to dethrone the warriors...then that would be foolish

A) As numerous people have told you, yet for some reason you continue insisting that it could happen, it's financially impossible. So that should end the thread right there

B) The Lakers would literally have no supporting cast even if they were somehow able to magically do it

C) That team is still inferior to the Warriors. KD and Durant are roughly equals, Klay and PG are roughly equals, and Curry is better than Paul. Then Draymond and the rest of GSW's bench blows LA's out of the water. Plus, Kerr is a better coach than Walton

So really this isn't based in reality at all, and even if it were they wouldn't make it out of the West
