I know the NBA IS A BUSINESS. I know LeBron doesn’t have many if any years left like 2018 playoffs LeBron. I know he is a man who is about titles, and that’s primary.

But I hope LeBron finds his way to an ‘almost there’ team where he will take guys who are at best a semi-contender and take them to contender status.

So basically I hope he doesn’t go to Houston, Boston, or Philadelphia.

I hope LeBron goes somewhere that is almost in the conversation. New Orleans. Portland. Utah. Washington. Not Toronto. That’d be too weird. Minnesota. San Antonio. Memphis. LeBron, Conley Jr, Gasol ain’t winning games? You know that’s a 55 win team minimum.

Go somewhere weird, LeBron. And not Cleveland. Allow Cleveland to be forgotten from our memories and sink to the bottom of the NBA consciousness like some kind of Midwestern Atlantis.

Random thoughts on a Tuesday.

I know not all those teams have cap room.

Indiana is the spot! George or LeBron would fit in easy.

He'll be calling up his boys Paul George and Kawhi Leonard and they'll form a Big 3 in Los Angeles Lakers.

Lebron calls himself a nba historian. I have a feeling he wants to be involved in a historic  rivalry. If he sees the Celtics as kings of the east, he can bring back Lakers/Celtics and he will go down in history as "bringing the Lakers back" as well as the rivalry. They would meet in the finals again and it would be huge. Bring a new meaning to kyrie vs lebron. Also it would solidify Celtics vs lebron as he has had to get past us for 10 of his 15 years... That's been his rivalry all his career. Lebron is also a marketing genius. Lebron/Ball/George vs Kyrie/Hayward/Tatum/Brown/Horford would get big Television views

I want the rivalry back. Imagine how great it would be to take down lebron as a laker to bring back banner 18...

Joseph-Dipo-James-Young-Turner...that’s a very good team. Exactly like what I’m talking about.

While I've been thinking that George going back to the Pacers would certainly make them a contender, at the very least, in looking over a couple of blogs and comments on articles pertaining to a possible reunion, the vast majority of people in Indiana absolutely hate PG, lol, so so much for that :-\.

Can you imagine him on the Pels? My goodness

Rondo-Jrue-Moore-LBJ-Davis

I dunno if that's the team they'd run with, but holy cow what a dynamic, playmaking and defensive team that could be

LeBron opts into player option next season under the agreement that Cleveland trades him to Portland for Evan Turner, Moe Harkless, Caleb Swanigan, future first (or 2).

Lilliard, McCollum, LeBron, Aminu, Nurkic is a lineup that can contend with anybody in the league.

Seems to me Philadelphia fits perfectly in the semi-contender, almost there category.  Why are New Orleans, Portland, Utah, Washington, Minnesota and San Antonio less of contenders than Philadelphia?

He will, he will go where he thinks he has the best chance to win a title.

Let these playoffs be your guide and specifically his body language.  He wants to play with good players with high BBIQ.

Sounds like the makings of a 5 part "Decision" miniseries.  Netflix?  Or Google?  Yes.  Google is trying to pump up the new Google TV thing.
Yup
