Funny thing is that out of all his possible destinations WE have the brightest future.

But as I said in the Antoine Walker thread I think he's too big for BOS.

CLE? He IS CLE.

Boston? He'd have to fit in among the greats Russell, Couse, Hondo/Heinsohn/Cowens, Larry and Paul.

Could he? I suppose he could. Would he, though?

And I thought Kyrie left CLE to get AWAY from under LeBron's shadow. He's done just that here in BOS.

If ANYONE could make a LeBron to BOS scenario work it'd be Danny and Brad. But Kyrie, Big Al and GH would have to sign off on it.

Actually, one of my friends has a wild theory that may not be wild: He thinks LeBron will retire after this Finals.

My friend's reasoning (short version): 1) Cleveland's probably gonna lose this Finals, and Cleveland's in no position to significantly upgrade its roster over the next 2-3 years; 2) LeBron's best shot at winning a title in the next 2-3 years is to pull a Durant and join Golden State, which is highly unlikely to happen; 3) LeBron is 33 and has a TON of miles on his legs; 4) LeBron has stated publicly that he wants to play in the NBA with his son.

So ... LeBron retires after this Finals, stays in shape the next couple of years but gives his body plenty of much-needed rest, then makes a comeback when his son enters the league, both of them playing for the same team.

Actually makes sense to me.

I can only imagine the pandemonium of a "LeBron to BOS" scenario.

And "IF" he won a banner for us, here? TWO?

He'd be as big as Brady.

Folks would name their daughters "LeBronia"....LeBronica"....name their sons "LeBronicus"...lol.

I really want him to stay in Cleveland.  The King basically GM'd this team into its current form.  He creates his power by requiring one-year deals leaving ownership/management at his mercy.  Do as I say with regard to team construction (and coach), or I'm outa here.  Then, when the team he constructs doesn't actually look all that great -- he decides to leave. I hate it -- and I am really not a Lebron hater.   Leaving once in order to create the dream in Miami was bad (as bad as the Durant or Shaq abandonments of OKC and Orlando); leaving again would be despicable.  I hope he doesn't do it.

I’m starting to think Philly makes the most sense. Originally thought it might PO Simmons, but Lebron has become such a good shooter that is less a concern.

Off the radar thought: Why wouldn’t he try to team up with Anthony Davis in New Orleans? Talk about scary roster. They have cap space issues but would think a sign and trade could work.
