So there is all kinds of rumor regarding Lebron next year.  I’m curious where the fans prefer Lebron to end up?  I’ve listed the most obvious options, excluding Houston which I believe doesn’t actually have the space to sign him.

As a fan, lots of reasons could motivate your response.  Maybe you want one last crack at him in Cleveland?  Maybe you want him out west, where he could potentially improve his chances of winning it all but give the celts clear path to the finals.  Does anyone actually want Philly?  Hey, it was great beating those guys, and would be even sweeter beating them with Lebron.  And there is the huge question of fit with Simmons and Lebron.  And, we could talk about Lebron even more for team jumping to the bets team.

So what do we pick?

Cleveland would be great - they were barely able to beat our completely depleted team this year. Being so far over the cap and only the #8 pick as a trade asset, they really have no place to go but down.

Philly or Houston would obviously be a disaster as those teams would become so much better. I wouldn't mind LAL, but would be somewhat fearful until their final team is set. If they were somehow able to sign Lebron and PG (after clearing salary) and then trade for Kawhi, that team would be as hard to beat as GSW.

I just think Lebron staying in CLE would be the best way to keep him in check.

Anywhere in the West other than Golden State.

I'd love to see him in LA just to see all of the Lakers fans crushed every year when he falls short of the Finals.

I think Houston makes the most sense for him, but I'm not sure if they can work it out.

I have thought Houston is most likely and would be good for the Celtics.  Not that they can look at that team and feel better about beating it than the Warriors or something but at least he's out West.

Personally I really don't see him in Philly.  From his standpoint or what they have there already.  Not that they should say no to LeBron but I just don't see him getting far enough with them to even think about it myself.

Where do I want LeBron to end up next year? Boston!

I mean, I don't believe it's gonna happen, but that's a whole nother story. :P

Having said that, I don't believe it's completely out of the question either.

- The C's (if fully healthy) may already be the best team in the East --> pretty much guaranteed trip to the Finals.
- CBS is possibly the best coach in the league.
- The fit would be amazing. Everybody in the starting 5 can shoot. Everybody can put the ball on the floor and take it to the basket.

At the end of the day, if the ultimate goal is to win as many championships as possible, the only team that beats Boston is Golden State.

Anywhere in Western Conference or on the Celtics. Not Philly.

If LeBron is smart he'll stay in the East as that's the easiest conference for the path to the Finals. He'll only have to challenge Boston (and Philly) year after year.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Don't care unless it's the Warriors.

As long as it's NOT Philadelphia, I'm happy.

So I guess my answer is, he goes out west or stays in Cleveland.

I'd worry about the Lakers only if they also manage to trade for Kawhi, but I think Kawhi stays in SAS, and even with George + Lebron added to LAL, I think HOU and GSW are still better, and maybe even San Antonio if they keep Kawhi. Lakers core is good but still a bit inexperienced.
