He clearly is well in the lane when the ball is still in Hill's hand.  As such, Hill should have been granted another attempt at the FT.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Did this affect the free throw attempt at all?

It didn't prevent the Cavs from getting an offensive rebound.

So: who cares?

Do we want to dig out all the lane violations Lebron has committed in these playoffs?

you think a guy moving early and coming into the shooter's view has no effect on a shot.  That would be a novel position to take

what does that have to do with Green's lane infraction?

Do you honestly believe that doesn’t happen on most free throw attempts in the nba? It does and it often goes uncalled. They would never call it on a potential game winning free throw in the playoffs

The refs are not going to call that with less than 5 sec left

You know how many lane infractions occurred when Horford was at the line?

Cavs choked

If you call the one on Green then you have to call all the violations on Lebron too, and that would be a lot of points to GS

No, I really don't.

It really just seems like you're grasping at straws.

The Cavs lost a winnable game because of their own mistakes.

The officiating was not up to the level of the game which is too bad, but also not surprising. I've never ever seen a block/charge call reversed when the issue wasn't whether the feet were in the circle.

There’s a lane violation on almost every FT.

This one doesn't bother me, if only because it's so common.  It's a violation, but since Cleveland got the rebound, it evened out.

Moranis this really sounds like sour grapes. There are lane violations on 97% of free throw attempts (including every one that Lebron takes). They don't call them at any point so nobody should be surprised.

I would totally support your gripes about the calls in overtime against the cavs and that I don't think the foul/block rule interpretation was reasonably enforced. In those respects I think the warriors got jobbed. That being said, complaining on this one just makes you look bad.

Good, the league will need to blow about 100k more calls to even out all the gifts LeRoid has been given over the years.
Still don't believe in Joe.
