George Hill owes J.R. Smith big time. Instead of the story being about Hill choking, it’s about Smith’s brain spasm.  In terms of expected outcomes, though, Hill’s miss was much more consequential.
Yeah, that was a big time choke that people have forgotten about. I loathe JR though, so I'm okay with this development ;)

Was LeBron not lined up for the rebound because he was still arguing with the refs? Why have JR Smith rebounding instead of LeBron? I know Larry Bird would never do that...

Only rivaled by Game 7 Rozier.

And Marcus Smart.

You know who else owes Smith a big one, Kevin Durant, for letting Smith get the rebound at all.  And why the hell didn't Lue (or anyone else on the floor) call their last time out.  So many blunders on that final sequence.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He's not only the most stupid player he is also the dirtiest player. I actually think he intentionally rolled into Klay and act like it was an accident. The way he looked at Klay after it happened it was like I hope his leg looks like Gordon Hayward's. JR Smith is a loser, punk, thug.

It's a long list!! Hell it pains me watching guys on our team step out of bounds non-stop! Did the C's lead the league in that his year?

which is why I cannot root for the Cavs. I don't hate LeBron as much but i cannot stand JR. Maybe because it's the conference but I have no issues with Draymond vs JR.

But yesterday's play is funny to me cuz it probably contributed to the Cavs losing, how much time he has left when he grabbed the board? 5 seconds?

No but he probably is the dumbest one to play such a prominent role on a contending team. (starter who plays in crunch time)

The amount of minutes he gets is simply mystifying. Surely Rodney Hood, Clarkson and Korver would be a better group of shooting guards, right?

I agree with the other two but Clarkson? He was dreadful last night. If he actually could hit a shot or two rather than launching bricks they would have won. I would sit Clarkson next game and bring Hood instead.

Clarkson and JR are funnily almost identical from a statistical standpoint. A handful of points on sub 30% shooting. I feel as if Clarkson could be better if he got consistent minutes like JR gets though. He's getting about 8mpg less in the playoffs compared to the regular season, where he was a decently efficient scorer

I do like seeing JR get laughed out of the league though, so I hope Lue keeps playing him
