Did any one notice the current Tier breakdown in TheStepien's mock?  I'm not sure if they're using Ford's old descriptors, but this appears markedly different from other sites and common opinions:

Tier 1: Doncic
Tier 2: Jackson Jr., Young
Tier 3: Bagley, Ayton, Carter,
Tier 4: Bridges x2, Z. Smith, Bamba
Tier 5: Sexton, Huerter, Knox, Shai, Melton, Milton, etc.
Tray Young tiers above Bagley, Ayton, Carter & Bamba is hilariously wrong

And there was also no way Baker Mayfield was going ahead of the other QB's let alone #1.

He was a five star recruit, that averaged 27.4PPG/8.7APG and was leading a team that at one point hit #4 in the nation before the wheels fell off.  His game will certainly transfer to the NBA.
Except for the whole, y'know, no defence part of his game. He might be a good offensive player, but I think he'll be inefficient and will be absolutely exploited on the defensive end.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Saying Trey Young is not one of the top 5 prospects in the draft is not the same thing as saying he won’t be an NBA player, or even a good one.  But he’s a player you will always have to compensate for at one end of the court, guaranteed.  With the other top players, they all have two-way potential, even if there is a question if they might reach that potential.

I wrote this some 2 weeks back:
I don't know if he will be available by the time we draft, but Dženan Musa (Jenn-an Moose-aa) fits the bill. Bosnian kid that played for a Croatian champion Cedevita, where he was coached by Jurij Zdovc, ex Slovenian PG that I respect. He is young (got to age 19 just less than 2 weeks back), fairly athletic, has range on his shot (not a fan of his release), has length, some playmaking ability, he seems talented. I went to see him in 4 games live this year and even though he didn't dominate in any of them, there were many flashes. His BBIQ and execution need some work, but he also tries different stuff as he has talent and ability. Definitely enough for a late 1st rounder. If by some chance, now ranked (18-20) he ends up being available.

I'm still learning about the draft. But two players I didn't know much about look impressive to me: Lonnie Walker and Kevin Huerter. I would take them in the top 10 of the draft. Who else likes these two guards?

An interesting big board with a paragraph assessment of each player.  Has Ayton at #6 and Sexton at #22 for example.

New draft binkie is Tryggvi Hlinason and the old one is Bonga! I guess both these guys can be had in the late 2nd round or maybe just on camp invites after the draft. I would be surprised if nither of these guys got at least a 2nd round pick.

Yeah, Tryggvi is obviously on my list too.  I just don’t want to have a binkie that requires a pick which we don’t own in order to select him.  But at this point I’ve already convinced myself that we can buy pick #59 from Phoenix, so yeah, he’s my binkie too.

Teams with  multiple 2nds : Phoenix, Dallas, Orlando, Brooklyn, Philly, Lakers, Denver, Atlanta has 3 1sts and a 2nd. A lot of picks will be changing hands tonight.
