Jevon Carter, Elie Okobo, Brandon McCoy and recently converted to the Isaac Bonga camp ;D

My favourite has to be Carter. Plays incredibly hard on the defensive end, and plays the right way offensively. Think he's underrated, and will be like if TJ McConnell had a jumpshot

I’ve read that he’s a little slow - maybe not Greg Monroe level, but likely to have a real problem switching into wings or playing the pick and roll. Also, not much of an outside game. If so, not a great match for the Cs.  Do you hear something more promising?

Of course, they said Tatum didn’t have 3-point range and would have a hard time getting his shot off because he lacked athleticism...

Should The Celtics trade back and get two second round picks for their first rounder? They could get those two sixers picks at 38 and 39 but Philly probably hangs up on Danny. Dallas has two at 33 and 54, but I think the really good one would be Phoenix with the 31st pick and 59th. So many teams have a lot of picks in this draft. Philly has six picks and they might need to clear cap space for a free agent.

It depends if you think the Celtics should/will use the MLE to resign Baynes or another free agent.  An early 2nd rounder will eat into a decent chunk of that exception, unless you want to sign him for just two years at the minimum (answer: you don’t want to do that).  If you are hoping that the Celtics will use the MLE, then you should not want them to trade into the early 2nd.
There is no need to trade for a 2nd round pick when you can just buy one.  The Sixers sold two of their 4 2nd rounders last draft and I expect they'll do it again this draft.  GSW was able to buy 2nd rounders in the past 2 drafts.  If you're getting the 2nd rounder for a draft and stash like Bonga, it won't affect the MLE.

Are you not able to give 2nd rounders Hinkie Special contracts anymore?

Trade Up:
Wendall Carter - I love his feel for the game and instincts on both ends. Plays very similarly to Horford except not as athletic.

Bigs at 27:
Jarred Vanderbilt - I'm a sucker for playmaking bigs plus he might be the best rebounder in the draft. He can't really shoot but he can improve a little and his medical checks out, he would be a steal.

Omari Spellman - Floor spacing big who isn't a bad defender and comes from a good program. I also think he has some athletic upside with him being an out of shape freshman.

Wings and Guards at 27:
Josh Okogie: Great defender and above average athlete which fits the Ainge profile. He's got good shooting mechanics but is only 6'4

Kevin Huerter - Looks a lot like Klay Thompson on offense, less so on defense but still is a solid team defender. I read that he had a promise in the middle of the draft (probably ATL at 19) so we won't likely have a shot at him.

Elie Okobo - Really good pick and roll player who can drive to the rim and shoot off the dribble. I agree with the other posters who suggested he could fill the Rozier roll if we choose to trade him. Also you can never have enough PGs on the roster with Kyrie and Smart's injury histories as we saw in the playoffs.

I haven't read that, but from watching him (caught around 15 Duke games) I don't really see that all. He is definitely a big body, but his mobility is surprisingly good. Plus, he averaged 2 blocks and nearly a steal per game, so his defence is pretty good.
In regard to his range, he actually hit 19 of 46 three point shots. Obviously not numbers that blow you away, but he clearly doesn't hesitate from range if he shoots over 1 a game. Coupled with his 74% mark from the FT line and I trust that he will be a good shooter.
I believe that if Bagley weren't there there'd be way more hype over Carter Jr.

But yeah, maybe scouts just hate Duke guys that can't throw down windmill dunks ;)

Donte DiVincenzo looks like a baller, but i'm very concerned of his upside skill-wise, looks like a solid bench contributor, which not so attractive

Wagner's skill and touch is very impressive, only if he can rebound than i can see being a starter 4~5

I am on giving me some Bamba, we need game changers

How could he be slow? He's so eager chasing for blocks. He even gets ahead than his teammates in the offensive end.

I mean slow because he is a frankly terrible perimeter defender. Players with even a hint of speed on the perimeter blow by him like he's not even there. He generally has a lot to learn defensively, with slow feet, bad defensive positioning, very foul prone and a tendency to watch the ball and lose his man.

He also has a bad temperament. No interest

Shooting is always nice: Dzanan Musa....     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWsl89TyPY0

He looks like Steph Curry in these highlights!

That 3 point line is the same as the NBA line!

Are you expecting an all star?

If you can get a solid bench producer with a Mid 1st to 30 pick, than thats great
