Not to be to much of a conspiracy guy but Divincenzo to the Celtics hype has me thinking.

The Cs do not typically tip their hand. Especially when their pick is this late in the first round. If DA really was set on draft Divincenzo it is more likely that we wouldn't hear anything about it and Donte wouldn't be working out for other teams.

I personally think its more likely that DA has his eyes on another prospect and wants to keep Divincenzo in this draft to drive down his guy and add more talent into the late first.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
That's what I'm thinking here... I think he might go for someone who has immense potential but is still extremely raw, or could stash overseas.

Gives him roster flexibility or allows Stevens to work his magic in developing him.

This wouldn't surprise me at all. I truly have no idea who he'll pick
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

If Danny didn't tip his hand with Tatum at the top of the draft, then I doubt he will with a pick near the bottom of the first round.

He's a magician I tell ya! :)

I understand it sounds strange but at the same time why let it out to the media that you have interest?

Someone like James Young, perhaps?

Agreed. Bamba could be a smokescreen too if they are planning to trade up.

Reportedly, Utah traded #30 and #42 for #28 last year because the Spurs wanted Tony Bradley at #29.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Sure, but Fultz was a potential #1. He's not too worried about the guy falling to the end of the first round.

My point was Fultz was a smokescreen. That taking someone out to lunch, especially publicly, does not mean we are going for them.
