This is normal NBA GM behavior. Find a new slant.
I'm bitter.

If there were any questions in Paul George's or Lebron James' minds about going to Philly, this may be enough to make them want to team up in LA.

Working with Magic Johnson would be a lot better than working with that passive aggressiveness.

My Celtics-loving heart is on the verge of exploding from a schadenfreude overdose right now.

Seriously, let's all pause to admire what a dumpster fire this is, and also to remind ourselves that an actual competent organization is necessary to be a successful winning team, not just collecting lottery picks.

Colangelo will either be fired or he will step down. They will hire David Griffin who has good relationship with LBJ and if they sign LBJ we are in trouble.

Wonder whether Colangelo comes up with a Rosanne-like excuse?

Yeah, this is my favourite take from it too. Seeing their fans realise this too, and starting to panic, is super fun.

TP to Ed H, majorly feeling that schadenfreude too!

Because he replied to someone's criticism of him regarding his departure from OKC to GSW. It was pretty easy to connect the dots.

“It was a spur-of-the-moment kind of thing,” Cashwell told me via direct message. “I wasn’t expecting him to reply. I wasn’t expecting it to blow up. My mentions have been crazy.”

To his—and, presumably, KD’s—surprise, Cashwell got a response from Durant’s official account.

“He didn’t like the organization or playing for Billy Donovan. His roster wasn’t that good, it was just him and Russ.”

“Imagine taking Russ off that team, see how bad they were. Kd can’t win a championship with those cats.”

The tweets, written as if they were coming from someone other than KD, were deleted, but not before Cashwell and other Twitter users could screenshot them. Quickly, sleuths across the interwebs were on the case. “Does KD have fake accounts to defend himself?” the world pondered.

It's based on your perspective, quite simply

It's described in the article. The way they did it was clever - he had five accounts (at least). Among other things the reporter emailed asking about one of them, and the next day, the other four (which were supposedly unrelated to the first) went private.

Read the story on the bus this morning.  What an absolute idiot.  Some pretty compelling & convincing evidence that it was him.

How about him floating the Fultz/Tatum trade idea weeks before the draft?  That's a bold strategy, Cotton.  Let's see how it plays out.
