Would have been nice to dethrone Lebron .... but the Celts couldnt make buckets.  Defense was good enough (held Cavs to under 90). But too many open 3s missed....And this team basically lives and dies by the 3

The two important things out of this intense playoff experience is Tatum and Brown have grown up real fast. Marcus Smart is a keeper.

This was basically a bench unit (this season) that was able to make it this far. Impressive if you think about it

Next season expecting nothing short of a championship.

I hope Houston can get through and torch LeBron. Not likely, but that's my dream

yeah getting beat up by golden state 20+ probably not a good thing, smart is still a project,i wouldn't pay him more than the QO, he needs to show his ts% can be 50-55%, and not 45-50%

Totally ok with this loss. Would rather lose game 7 to CLE then get swept by GS.

How is that going to happen without Paul or an injured version?

Thats like saying this Cavs can beat GSW in the finals

I think if Houston does miraculously advance, CP3 could come back sometime in the Finals. Still think HOU would beat them in 5. Their role players are far better than Cleveland's, and they got no answer for Harden either (I mean, Harden + Paul OR Harden + Gordon vs. JR + Hill... yikes).

Jaylen and Rozier just showed their inexperience last night and it lost the game, but Harden and Paul and Gordon all have great postseason experience.

I selfishly want to see Golden State win tonight and steamroll the Cavs.  I'm legit concerned about Houston if they advance to the Finals.  The Paul injury might leave enough of an opening for LeBron to add another ring.

As for the Celtics, does it get any better than an NBA Finals appearance against a Warriors squad that has won 3 titles in 4 seasons?

Honestly I think the Celts would have a better chance against the Warriors or Rockets than the Cavs because we have better perimeter defense. And Smart is good at making James Harden try to plow straight through him for offensive charges lol.
