I rather the Celtics lose a series 4-2 than to lose a Game 7 AT HOME to these nobodies.

How could anyone be happy for Jeff Green?

All I'm thinking is where the hell was that when WE needed him?!

He was showing up every 10 games and them going back to sleep
I'm bitter.

I won't give you Lebron as being the greatest of all time and I cannot stand Jeff Green, but I would like to modify a line from your post by saying that, "Celtics basketball is stupid." That's the real takeaway, here, for me, as throughout the vast majority of this series Boston simply looked like the child that got left behind, quite honestly, and Lebron's intelligence, more than anything else, imo, simply dwarfed any and all knowledge that is possessed both by our players and the coaching staff. Use your brain and even with our depleted roster, this could have been a five game series, at the most, imo, but these guys are so consumed by analytics and all of that crap that they just cannot seem to take an easier shot and/or exploit a mismatch because threes ::).

I'm disappointed, but it's kind of one of those "I won money in a casino, and lost all the winnings but came out break even" kind of a disappointed.

I was happy. I was entertained. I was proud of the performances throughout the year. Sucks we didn't win Game 7, but we had a great season.

Would probably sulk for a while, but I'm still happy and proud of what we did this year.

Dude had heart surgery, he's been maligned his whole career, but he started in place of an injured All-Star in Game 7 of the ECF and played the best game of his career (given the stakes).

Hats off to him.

If I watch another game til next season, I will
be shocked- it stings bad- It is not like ECF come along frequently- You have a chance- you need  to seize the moment-

Not sure why Kyrie not at game- That is an ominous sign -

Tatum will be a star for years to come
Brown will be a great player as well
Horford will be a good complimentary player on a star filled team- he will never carry our team in ECF game sevens or in the Finals

Awake on caffeine, buzzed on wine—-night from hell for me, no matter how amazing our team was to get to this point

Hearing that Lebron’s greatness tonight will lead to our future greatness does not help matters as well-

feeling it's probably for the best I didn't have tickets to the game because I'm not so sure Rozier would make it out of the player's parking lot in one piece.

I can deal with a player having a bad game.  he was outrageously and recklessly stupid.  Brown was really bad but this is on Rozier in my opinion.  well him and Brad for Brad's inexcusable refusal to come up with something other than 3's for offense.

Shockingly, I just can't find the same compassion. I'm happy that Jeff maintained a career after that ordeal, but the man still found every single way to let us all down when the Celtics needed him.

And the one time where he finally stepped up happened to be against the Celtics.

For that reason, Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. Uncle Jeff.

Listening to Jeff Green is annoying. This guy came up small for the C’s when it mattered but knocks down big shots in Cleveland? Pitiful

All I know is I can’t watch any sports programs for at least the next 5 days, and that I need a drink or 10

Yeah, this is the fall-out from such a disappointing loss. I just can't listen to the media talk about what a legendary performance Lebron and 4 nobodies put on the hapless Cs. It was his best performance ever...blah blah blah.

Disappointing to say the lease and I agree with Pho - only so many chances you get at something like this. Rozier and Brown tear it up in game 6, but can't contribute when the season is on the line.

OR we whip this team first 3 at home so everyone assumes we do it again we are undefeated at home all playoffs right?? ERONG!

it is why we need a steal in clevekand this crap shoulda been over in 5 EVEN WITH THIS CURRENT GROUP.  STEVENS AND THE TEAM SHAT THE BED IT IS ON ALL OF THEM

No feelings here.

I started to believe that we could lose the game in the 1st half when we couldn't bury them.

At the end of the day we could've used THESE two guys to bring us home.

We lacked star power to bring us home....to counter LeBron. We'll have them back next season and for several years after that.

And I get more and more respect for LeBron James every single year. And I'm so happy for Uncle Jeff.
